Guyz, i have ordered 32gb Aluminium (Vancouver,CA) on 8th Oct and leaving from warehouse (Toronto,CA) date is 27th Oct and i have free shipping on my order - so will it be 2 day shipping or regular shipping? my order is still pending :(

😬Really... I ordered on 9/29 and my estimate shipping is November 6-9 and two day shipping...

Well my 6P CASE that I ordered about 30 minutes after go-live on the 29th just shipped last night 10/23. Not as exciting as the phone itself but considering the case said "Leaves warehouse by October 27th" and actually did 4 days earlier is a good sign right?

That's wonderful, Mine is still pending :(

Has anyone had their status switch from pending to processing this weekend so far???

I don't believe they are shipping any today. I expect some orders to start "processing" tomorrow night, and the credit cards to be charged, for devices that will ship on Monday.

My company subscribes to Delivery Manager and they had the option highlighted for me. I clicked on it and got the confirmation email that it was ready for pick up. Guess I lucked out. Charging it now.

I ordered my Nexus 6p 32GB in Aluminum on October 8th, still says Preordered with an estimated ship date of Nov 9th.

I'm not one to really voice and vent but honestly this has been more than a few years already with the nexus program. I just don't see how they can't announce a phone and have it ready to be in peoples hands maybe 2 weeks later. Both Apple and Samsung have mastered this and it's just mind boggling how google still cant their act together. I've had every single Nexus phone released for the exception of the Nexus 6 because I just didn't like the feel of it. And I just don't understand why this happens year after year with Nexus lovers either being out of luck when ordering because they sell right out, or have to wait weeks and weeks for their phones to arrive?

I use both Apple and Android and love them both for various reasons, but while Apple has gotten so much better at their ordering system and the ways to buy an iphone, google is still stuck in the mud. I preordered my 6s plus on the evening the ordering went live and had my phone in my hands the day it was released to the public. I understand Apple has brick and mortar stores which makes buying something from them much easier. But unless Google plans to open up stores they need to get their announcements and ordering/delivery game on point. It's ridiculous that all these years later we are all still holding loyal to the Nexus brand and still placing orders and waiting weeks and weeks for the arrival of our phones. Just my 2cents!

That may be true, but I hope they finish the ones like mine that went processing and were charged Thursday but did not ship Friday first.

It is truly unbelievable. But we the silly people who keep coming back year after year to spend our money enable the behavior unfortunately.

I know people that waited 6+ weeks for their iPhone 6+ to ship, ordered directly from Apple. So it is an issue that is hardly unique to Google.

Google could have waited until they already had sufficient stock of the phones to ship the first of them the day that they announced it. However when they announce things is a marketing decision, and I'm sure there were reasons for deciding when they would make the announcement. They were very open and up front about when they would be shipping the phones, so it isn't like they were deceiving anyone.

SeanNYC76. sorry to be rude, but stop crying. They told you when the phone was going to be ready and it will most likely be here before that. it was your choice to preorder.

Why do they do it, simple because people will pay for it. If you could get your pay check before you did ALL the work would you? Hell yes you would and companies will do that too.

Hell they could probably charge EXTRA to preorder and there will still be millions of people willing to pay for it.

The **** they are doing is crazy complex and involves the coordination of dozens of companies and 1000's of people to get that phone in your hands. unfortunately it take a little time.

and @millionmasters as well

First off that was my 2 cents, not me crying. lol, how long have you guys even been members of a forum, and even more over how long have you guys been buying Nexus devices? For me and a few others its been a while. Your both missing the point

A company the size of Google should not have these shortcomings. Every single launch with Nexus devices should be smooth and easy after all this time, not filled with posts of people calling Googles CS to see whats up with their orders, why they were charged and the phone is nowhere near being shipped, why why why, just a lot of why's from a lot of loyal Android users.

Comparing launches with the iphone is a bad example because there are people out there who make it an Apple vs Android thing, which it's not in my eyes...Apple just executes very good after so many years of doing this. So instead lets use Samsung. They announce a phone and release it ASAP, not a month later with their CS not being able to give people the correct answers? Granted most people attack the carriers, and with a Nexus launch you can't because it's unlocked and you get to deal with Google directly. Either way IMO i feel that Google is better than this, and after how many Nexus launches do they need to finally understand that this is not a small project anymore with a few hundred people buying a stock Google device, its much bigger than that and our community has grown substantially over the years and Nexus devices have become a pretty wanted thing in the mobile world. Again, you don't have to agree with me because it's my 2 cents here. But I feel the execution of Google announcing a phone and than releasing it should be a lot faster than it's been and continues to be now.

Either way I'm excited for the 6p because it finally fuses the words flagship, premium & vanilla android together, Which a lot of long time Android users have been waiting for.

Not that this helps your concerns but I don't know if they have figured out the standard on when they charge or if the process is breaking down. I agree that you should not be charged until the device ships but does that mean label creation, delivery to carrier, other? Maybe this needs to be made clearer for us next time. I was really surprised how my wife's 5x CC charge was handled.

She got her 5x on the 22nd ground shipping so that means it shipped on Monday the 19th. I checked on the 21st no CC charge but the device was tracking. She wasn't charged until the 22nd when the device was already in hand.

If I'm being charged, I should have a tracking number. That's my benchmark. Label creation is one of the marks that a tracking number can show, so I'd feel a lot better about being charged if I immediately had a number to associate with paying that much money.

I still haven't been charged. I can confirm, however, that my ex wife deposited her alimony check the day she received it.
