The charge came out of my account instantly and never left. I didn't pre-order until Oct 16th. Still says preordered tho.

Re: Expected delivery

I doubt we'll see 6P ads anytime soon, since it is sold out on the Google Store (other than apparently a few 32GB aluminum). It makes no sense for Google to run a 6P ad when they don't have them to sell but have all 5Xs available, that will ship this week.

Good point. I'm not really worried about new stock at this point. Just get the old stock out the door. Don't want to put too much on their plate.

So while my google play store shows SHIPPED for my 5X. I had received no email or tracking number. I contact google and they were able to dig up a tracking number. Shows delivery tomorrow.
Hopefully 6p will follow in a week or so.

Re: Expected delivery

64gb Alum preordered release day and my ship date says Nov 10-12th.

I would have hoped they created a batch of phones before the preorders were starting.

A UK retailer is telling their customers that they'll be shipping the "silver" 6p on the 26th. There's a good chance we'll see google beginning shipments that day also.

Since they're selling through multiple vendors, perhaps they have agreements in place to start shipping on the same date.

mine changed to pending about 4 days ago. 32GB Graphite. What sucks is when I get it, ill have to return it and order another one. Forgot to get the nexus protect plan. There is no way im gonna cancel and reorder this far into the timeline. If i did that Id probably be getting the phone in January.

I ordered mine through Project Fi. They don't offer Android Protect yet, but said that we could purchase it when it becomes available through Fi, and it would work retroactively.

They are on the proverbial slow boat from China.

For what it's work when my Moto X PE shipped from China a few weeks ago they had very fast delivery. Mine unfortunately spent a weekend in Memphis but if you were lucky enough to get a shipment early in the week they were hitting 2 day delivery times.

Obviously the only thing that's the same this go around is the delivery address but here's to hoping.

mine changed yesterday from preorder to pending, 32 GB Graphite, delivery for Nov 5-9th.

I have the same phone, same status and same dates. Fingers crossed

I guess will see what happens when I call to get a RMA #. Unfortunately, the Google store website clearly states they must be purchased together. If you forgot to do so, you must cancel and reorder. Doesn't make much sense, usually you have 30 days from date of purchase to add insurance from anywhere else.

Have any 3rd parties offered insurance in the case where you didn't add in, or aren't offered (ie: Huawei directly), Nexus Protect?

He is specifically talking about those who ordered their phone through Project Fi. It appears Fi is planning on having a different protection plan and that the details aren't finalized yet. As he points out, where the option would have been to add the protection plan when ordering the phone, there was merely a checkbox to have Google let you know when the protection plan becomes available with Project Fi. I'm wondering if the Fi protection plan will be a monthly plan, and only good while you are using Project Fi.

Ordered 64GB Frost on Oct 3, as of today status is in pending.
I live 30 mins from Google and Huawie, not sure where the wareshouse they are shipping the phones from is, but I am assuming it is somewhere close by.. shouldn't the Northern California crowd be getting phones sooner compared to the ones outside California, assuming the order date was same?
