When did you order and where are you located? I ordered on day 1 (9/29) and located in Missouri. I have the exact same conditions as you, ordered Graphite 64 GB, Nov. 5th is also my ship date, and stuck on "Pending" for over a week now. And yes, the hype train for me is already over at this point, I'm just sick and tired of waiting for well over a month...

I'm almost feeling disdainful toward it, now

No I don't think Nexus Protect affects shipment in any ways, because I ordered my 64GB Graphite on day 1 without Nexus Protect and it's still stuck on "Pending" for over a week.

EXACTLY! I feel so scornful because it feels like Google doesn't give a DAMN about customers who ordered on day 1! Like is this how Google treat a loyal Nexus customer who ordered on the release day?! I think Google is mocking me by shipping 6Ps that was ordered in October first... I didn't kill the hype train, it was Google itself that killed the hype train...

I got a notification Thursday evening that more stock of Aluminum 32GB 6Ps were available

Instantly ordered with next day shipping, instantly shipped, it's slated to arrive Monday by 8PM (never thought I'd see the day where I want a weekend to speed by!)

I keep reading this about verizon being resistant to handing over nano sim cards for the nexus - hasn't been the case at all for me. Getting a 128gb graphite on the 12th. Just live chat verizon wireless and request a nano sim card for a new nexus phone you ordered the rep even asked if it was for the nexus 5x or 6p - I told him 6p and they send it free of charge (i believe via fed-ex) wasn't a problem at all. Waiting on the 6p is the challenge...

The issue isn't acquiring the SIM, its activating it in a Nexus. Depending on where you go, some reps will take the SIM, pop it into a display device and activate it so that you can then use it in your 6P. Others may say that the 6P isn't in their system so they can't activate it. Really depends on who you talk to and if the rep is willing to bend.

However if the SIM is already active then you shouldn't have a problem at al. When I got the Nexus 6 direct from Google I took the necessary SIM, activated it in different phone then threw it in the 6. Planning on using that same SIM with the 6P.

The charge on my credit card is still pending after 4 days. And, I'm such at processing for last four days. The delivery date still shows Nov 12-16. I ordered from project Fi and I was hoping to get it next week. It looks like I will have to wait more.
I ordered Aluminium 32 Gb model.

Ditto for me, except the charge has only been pending for 3 days in my case (went to Processing early Wednesday evening). Otherwise, exact same model and delivery dates on my order through Project Fi. Hopefully they'll ship soon.

So I ordered my 64GB Aluminum on 10/28/15 and the order status currently says "processing" but I wasn't notified when it changed from "pending" status. My estimate delivery date is Nov. 18-20 but I'm wondering if maybe I'll get it before then. What has everyone's experience been with late orders like mine?

To clarify...Google from what I've seen hasn't missed any dates for delivery.

They can still get my phone here by Nov 2nd to the 6th like originally promised, even through they are now saying Nov 9th and offering me a $25 credit. So essentially they can still be on time as far as they are concerned.

However the reason I'm burned up is that so many of us grabbed the pre order carrot like rabbits and raced to order early expecting to get our devices in a timely fashion. Not the case as I've already gotten pushed back on a simple 32GB aluminum 6p as people ordered away on let's say Late last week and either already have their devices or are expecting them on Monday or Tuesday....lol, you have to just laugh at this because Google is still swearing by the we ship orders as they come in and according to the time length of when you ordered....I can't, lol.

I for one will never pre order from Google ever again and I'm a real deal long time nexus user from the early days of the nexus one. The shame of it is that I've called them a few times and they keep apologizing and keep saying we don't have a phone to ship out to you right now. Classic I must say.

When I preordered I thought it was cool that you could order it that day. When I seen the estimated ship time (about a month away) I knew things hadn't changed, and it would be another one of those launches. The Ingram Micro theory that N4newbie mentioned is interesting. I know whenever I order from Apple, all their stuff comes straight from China. They seem to have a direct relationship with the supplier. Maybe that's what Google should do,

I think Google is the greatest thing since sliced bread and its freaking awesome at providing services and great customer service. However, they F'ing SUCK major marbles at selling hardware. Yes, I am super frustrated. I ordered a 64 Gb Graphite on October 1st and have been reading about every other person that ordered after me that has already received their phone or is getting ready to receive it. The part that pisses me off even more is all the JACKASSES on YouTube that already have a 6P (specially Graphite) and are just destroying their phone for just a lil fame while most of us here are begging and pleading Google to please just ship the freaking phone already...

My Phone is still pending

I've been ordering apple products for years, been through every iPhone launch since the first and have never seen a launch de-boggle like this. Even the nexus 4 and 5 with the you have to log in on Wednesday thing or whatever it was seemed to be better than this. Honestly I've always gotten an iPhone on launch day, and have never even had a big issue issue with Google either when getting a nexus. This year with the iPhone 6s things we're easier than ever with the ordering reservations and than visiting the store and picking it up, and I can't help to think what the hell is Google doing here. My anticipation for the 6p is basically gone at this point.

As per Google... I have to wait 9 more days for my phone to ship? All while people who ordered so late in the game have gotten their phones already? I'm still baffled, every year it's someone else's fault except Google, it's Samsungs fault, LG's fault, Motorola's fault, how about its Googles fault and they just don't know how to get stuff done as well as Apple does..I hate to say it because I have enjoyed owning an iPhone and Android phone for some time now. But Google really seems to put its loyal customers last, all while Apple bends over backwards to make customers happy. I'm just so pissed that I have to wait almost another 2 weeks to maybe get this phone. That will put me at 45 days at that point? Ridiculous in my honest opinion.

Next year it will be someone else distributing for Google. Google literally wants as little to do with the process outside of the software and design as possible.

They contract out Huawei and LG to make the device.... and then they contract Ingram Micro for the logistics and distribution. I am sure Google just dumped a file on Ingram Micro that said "Here is who ordered what...... Now you deal with it." and Ingram probably bid the lowest of all the people Google contacted to put in a bid.... so this is what you get out of it.... Not even sure how Ingram goes about this whole process.. Do they get a list from Google and order the phones from Huawei and LG? or does Google order the phones and drop ship them to Ingram Micro? or does Ingram order but with Google's check book????

I've worked in mass distribution and sales the last 15 years and I can't figure out how this mess works.

Just pulled the trigger and ordered the 128 GB Frost, with thanks to karmamule for helping me have the guts to go with the white. WOO HOO! Supposed to ship by November 12, but I'm hoping it ships sooner than that, as I depart for vacation a week later and want to have it in time to get it all set up and running before we leave, if possible. Fingers crossed. Very excited.
