Well, I asked for an RMA so i could return my 5X as today is the last day in the window. They said we would process it for you, but we want you to wait a few days until you get the 6P. So are they actually going to honor the fact that it is past the window for an RMA? I will be chatting again today with them to fight that, because, I do not believe one word that is coming from that asinine company.

Just got my shipping notification. 32g graphite from project fi ordered on Oct. 16. The delivery estimate was originally Nov. 12-16 and I had free shipping. They upgraded me to overnight and the phone should be here Monday. It delivered from Carol Stream. I live in NC.

Yeah, I'd definitely contact them about that and get it in writing (i.e. an email). I wouldn't take that suggestion to wait a few days as any sort of offer or guarantee.

He put it in writing, but I still do not trust them. I would like the actual RMA information. Google gives you 15 days from the date of the RMA to have it returned, so I could keep the phone, hopefully have the new one, and then return in time once I decide. But we shall see how this plays.

I ordered a 128 black last Friday (30th). Estimated shipping at the time was around the 16th. Got an email last night (5th) that it had shipped. Tracking info says it's been overnighted and will be delivered today, even though I chose 2-day shipping.

When I ordered with that future shipping date estimate, I remember thinking, "well, I've probably got about two weeks to change my mind and cancel, if I decide I don't want the big screen". ooops.

I dont get why Google is failing at this, seems to be pretty simple, is it possible they never had some of these phones in stock but sold preorders anyway?

Kind of the point of a preorder.... Gauge interest before you ramp up production. You don't want to make a million devices and then find out interest was for only 100,000.... Interest could have been greater than they originally thought and then put a serious strain on their ability to product enough phones to meet the preorder demand. I am sure they said we can make X number of devices per day/week/month and if the demand far outpaced that or suppliers for certain components were unable to meet their promise could also cause issues with the ability to meet original "Promised by" dates....

I finally got my $50 Play Store credit email, and FedEx says they have my package, so I may actually get my phone on Monday. That would be awesome. (128GB Aluminum.)

Suffice to say, Google needs to have some serious reflection time after this roll-out. But I'm getting my phone (10 days late), and hopefully it won't arrive in 1,000,000 pieces. My review on the rollout: I've seen Kickstarter campaigns run out of garages that are more together than this.

My Rx: Hire smarter people; don't lie to customers or waste their time; own your screw-ups when you screw up; give out coupons when you need to, and even when you don't; and don't let customers think that others are cutting in line, even if you have to change your system, is the gist of it.

Be a duck. Float on the water to your customers, even if your legs are flailing underneath. Because they don't care about your problems. They've got problems, too. And if buying your product is a hassle, they'll just buy something that's less of a hassle.

I imagine that by 2017, when i'm ready for my Nexus Skull Implant P, I'll have forgotten everything about it. (Or maybe the Skull Implant will help with that.) :D

Well, mine just arrived. The google Play Music coupon is for new customers, at least that's what my coupon says. :/

More google terrible service....

Requested Rma, as stated on their website.

Then I get the email "

So I called them out with that, and they told me the 7 days is correct, our webpage is not..... I really didn't think their stuff could get worse.

Update...My 6p was not scheduled to be here until the 19th. It shipped Wednesday (Imagine my joy) and arrived Thursday the 5th of November. Hats off to Google!

64 gig alum...This thing is AMAZING. My co-workers are GREEN with envy!!!

Sending mine back today. I am very disappointed with the build quality. We all know it's not at all durable, well it feels like it. Feels like super thin cheap aluminum that will dent and scratch easily. Almost plasticky. Such a shame. I'll be picking up a 6s plus instead to go with my G4.

Right that makes sense, but dont make 50k available for preorder, if you cant produce 50k when it gets preordered....surely this isnt a new process or anything unseen before, there should be ppl who get paid to think about and anticipate and plan for these things. External contributors or parties makes sense, im just really dissappointed, someone didnt do their job

Ordered mine yesterday and my card was charged today. Originally listed it as shipping and delivery occurring between 11/18-11/21. Will see if my order history updates today.

I am not 100% sure what is going on. I am sure Google backs X # of devices and then the MFG is on the hook for anything beyond that. I am sure the margins (Compared to other flagship phones with similar specs) are not super great on the Nexus devices. There does seem to be some other odd things going on with the 6p preorder/launch... I got lucky and ordered my 64 GB graphite on 9/29 with an estimated ship date of October 30 - November 3 and it shipped on October 27 and I had it in hand on October 29.. but following this thread it looks like a handful of people are not getting their devices in a timely manner and out of order to people who ordered later.

I do not think it's as big an issue as it seems on here. All the people (like myself) who got their phones on time or early just don't say anything. If 5 out of 100 have an issue or complaint you are going to pretty much only hear from the 5... the 95 who had no problem or issues just go on about their lovely day. That doesn't mean the 5 who basically feel they got "Screwed" don't have a legit gripe they do...

The other problem is Google never releases expectations or sales numbers for Nexus devices. So we have no clue if they estimated selling a million devices and got orders for two million or they estimated 50k and sold 100k.... Also doesn't help they offer basically 9 different configurations between Color and memory size.... From following along it seems that Frost white in 64 and 128 was the hardest one to get.. While it seemed like 32 GB aluminum was pretty easy to order and get..... Maybe they anticipated more demand for Aluminum and low demand for frost and it turned out the other way around???

Who knows.... Best of luck to all of you still waiting....

Ordered mine (Graphite 64G) this Tuesday (Nov 2) and the page says it should come the week of the 16th!
The more and more reviews I read the harder it will be to wait!

I ordered a set of protectors from Amazon Tuesday scheduled to arrive today, they didn't have the cutout. They emailed me a day later saying they are sending out the new version of the protector for free.

I got my frost yesterday and it's awesome. I ordered the graphite one and think I'm going to use that one instead. Kind of tired of white phones lol

OK, getting nervous. 64 GB graphite, ordered 9/29. leaves warehouse by 11/5, delivery 11/10-12.
Went to processing and credit card authorized on 11/3 and no shipping notice yet.
Spoke to CS and they told me that it left the warehouse yesterday at 4PM and I should get a shipping notice "soon."
Trouble is, after all I've read here, I don't believe them.
