I've used the HTC One. You've got questions. Let's do this.

On my Note 2 now but will be shelving it fit this beauty. At least till i see the Note 2. This One looks too good to pass up. I with they would release it. They need to before the S4

Notification light? I don't believe so. The back is all aluminum (save for those embedded plastic pieces.

I just want to say that phone manufactures who have used aluminum need to have another material included in the body (i.e. small black sqaure on the Ipad 1st gen, top and bottom glass section on the Iphone 5, and the little plastic pieces on the HTC One)

This is because cellular antennas, along with any other wireless components such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, etc. have a very difficult time with their signals travelling through the aluminum for several different reasons.

Short of it is, if you have a phone with an only aluminum body, all your wireless functions will absolutely suck.

Just thought I'd contribute a little fun fact, The More You Know

Apparently that was thought of in this case ridie, on one video review they discussed how the wireless antennas are embedded under the plastic accents on the back of the one. Also it is probably difficult to see on the silver model but there is a notification light on the front located inside the speaker holes.

I prefer to stay with my DNA I Iike the wireless charging and bigger screen plus it looks different than most phones, the One looks like an IPhone I love the one the built but why make it look like an IPhone.

I don't really think it looks like the iphone personally. It's more curved rather then having hard angles. At this point most of the major cell manufacturers are going to have overlapping design idea's because there are designs that just plain work ( good example of this is looking at the similarities between the new blackberry phones and the HTC One). Wireless charging would be nice of course but I've lived with it so far and don't consider it a deal breaker. I would definitely choose the One over a DNA. Even if every spec was the same across the board I would choose it just for the aluminum body, I can't stand plastic phones that have give when you use them, as it stands though just about all the specs are better so that's where I'm going.

Bra I'm sorry but if you haven't seen how the design is like the IPhone than your a fanboy, I love HTC there the best to me but I can't say it doesn't look like an IPhone.

Uhh....... you'll have to explain it to me, then. Other than being a rectangle and having a screen (which they all do) I don't see it. I guess if you think the white iPhone looks like the silver One, maybe. But the bezel above and below are full of speaker grille on the One, not a recessed home button. And the back is different, too, with the camera placement and the integrated antennas. But realistically, how much different can all of these phones be when the form factor is pretty much just a rectangle? You can make it a little less rounded or more rounded on the corners. Give it a little more or a little less bezel (more would be bad, though)... I'm no design guy so I've probably missed a bunch of things, but I just think that, right now at least, it's the little things that are going to count. And for me the little things are those damn front-facing speakers!

Agree 100% there's only so much you can do with a rectangle form factor. I think the One looks a little similar to the white iPhone 5 but that's a good thing in my mind and I own a black and slate iPhone 5. HTC nailed it with the One.

Just because something uses design elements from something else doesn't mean it necessarily looks like that. They used aluminum, that obviously draws comparisons to the iPhone since it's the other major phone using aluminum. But that doesn't mean it looks like an iPhone. The rounded back alone is a dramatic difference to the iPhone, and the size, buttons, fit and finish, all of the rest are not even similar to an iPhone.

Well, since you have apparently never seen an iphone before, here is a side by side comparison. The only similarity they really have are curved corners. The One looks just as much like an iphone as every other touch screen device out there.

Did they include HTC Sense Notes and Tasks and Calendar?
The HTC Sense suite that use to be included on the phones

If you are going to accuse the One of looking too much like any other phone, accuse of it looking like the Blackberry Z10, at least from the front. But I agree, there are only so many design variables out there, so there will be similarities between phones at some point! Not really seeing a strong iPhone resemblance.

Not sure this has been asked. Too many posts to go through :P
Does google calendar and task link to the blinkfeed? Be nice if it shows my monthly planner as well. Or could you help come up with a list of things blinkfeed sync with?

What about signal strength, the old death grip issue some phones get. Wondering if you hold the phone tite in your hand will your signal strength drop?
Thanks,
Vinny

No, Google Calendar does not link into Blink Feed, that was one of the first things I asked about when I had my hands on with it. The Productivity lock screen will display your next calendar event though. I don't have the link handy, but HTC has a phone setup site where you can see all the options for your feed.
