JB MA6 update issues

I know there is a another thread dealing with Jelly Bean issue, but i wanted to make a specific one for MA6 update. Please post what you find (problems, solutions).


So far i cant find any issues, but a few things concern me: in the text messaging app, hiding/bringing back keyboard and sending sms, causes a weird transition on the screen. Also, the tweak to allow the screen to stay turned off during incoming sms doesnt work anymore.

I also noticed that my battery drained about 5% over night, while i had about 2-3% with the previous version. Is 5% high? i had everything turned off (wifi, sync.......), phone was not in airplane mode.

I noticed my battery drain quicker then usual yesterday after updating. Hopefully some full battery drains will fix it

I have noticed after the update the battery usage has increased with more awake time overnight when I have everything besides the radio turned off.

I'm rooted and can't do that, but I am getting decent results from a 2300mah battery

Great usage is different for everyone. What he considers heavy usage I may consider light. You have to take this with a grain of salt.

With 2 hours or screen on time in auto settings, wifi on the whole time, medium usage, I get 8 hrs and still have about 50% of battery left.

I am so tempted to get an extended but didn't like my og evo because of how it felt and the weight it added.
