There is only one issue that I have with the ROM right now (and I didn't notice the spelling, I guess). The issue is that for apps I've moved to SD, after a reboot, their homescreen icons turn to the generic green icon. You can delete them and put them back if it bothers you, because they still work.

I have this same problem on my EVO 3D.

I have this same problem on my EVO 3D.

The EVO 3d doesn't do that atleast mine doesn't, and also you can't compare that ROM to the overall phone. hardware far superior and i am not talking about 3d capabilities I don't care about that.

I'm not sure what recovery I'm using but I don't think it's Amon_RA. I originally rooted with Unrevoked so I could tether but this is the first custom ROM I have tried to flash.

So I need to make sure I have KingsMODformat zip and AllianceROM 7.4S on my SD card then download ROM Manager and select flash alternate? You said "make sure to place the format zip and the ROM zip on the root of the SD card. Choose to install it and let it do its thing." I'm assuming you mean install the FORMAT first (although it keeps saying it failed when I try flashing)?

Try this instead. Just flash Amon's recovery and wipe everything manually as described in my previous post. Then flash the ROM, just make sure its on the root if the SD card before you do...and of course make a nandroid before of your current ROM so in case things so wrong, you'll always be safe.

Of course, this ROM cannot compare spec-wise with the 3D. However, if all the steps are followed, it is indeed very fast and very impressive. I have 330MB of internal storage available after moving my apps to SD card. I also have experienced the best battery life than I ever have on a Sense-based ROM. I typically average between 3 & 5 hours display on time each day (this includes 3g and wi-fi, web browsing, youtube videos, mp3s, etc). I do have Juice Defender and Set CPU and I turn my background data off (use manual sync for Twitter and e-mail). Again, once HTC releases the source code for the kernel, expect even better performance via overclocking/undervolting and SBC. And the 3D Carousel is addictive! LOL

I got Amon's recovery from here (WORKING NETFLIX! NEW! [AllianceROM][r7.4] HybriD 3D[Sense 2.1 OTA][Stock&Themed] - xda-developers) and put it on my SD card then made sure I had the Alliance 7.4S zip on my card too. Held volume down+power and it went to the white screen and I waited for a bit to see if it would do anything on it's on but it didn't so I went into recovery and tried to flash Amon's but it was aborted. Did I do something wrong?

At the white screen (boot loader?) it tried to install something but it says "wrong or no image"

Please select personalize/lockscreen. Then select which lockscreen widget type you want. Next, hit settings and then tap on the shortcut that you want to replace. A new shortcut app menu will appear... select app, then apply.

Ok really needing help. I've been trying to flash this ROM but it always gives me a force close when I try to unlock the phone.

I've decided to just restore my backup to the Unrevoked stage I had it at before but when I did a battery pull, I also pulled my SD card because I wanted to get dust out. Now when I'm in recovery and try to flash my backup, it says E:Can't mount /sdcard! How can I get it mounted to I can flash my backup and be done?

Rename the recovery zip PC36IMG keeping the .zip extension. After its been renamed and is on the root of the SD card, boot back into the bootloader and it should see the zip and proceed with flashing it.

You actually don't need to wipe anything to flash it. After it finishes I would recommend taking it off the SD card or just moving it another folder. As long as its not the root HBoot won't see it. Do a reboot after flashing the recovery to make sure it sticks. After the reboot, go back into the bootloader and reboot into recovery, do a Nandroid backup of the system. That includes, everything except cache, SD extensions, and android secure. After the nandroid has finished then proceed with the wiping and flashing.

I actually have had that exact same problem. I tried for quite a while to get it to remount with no success. I was just pressing the mount button until I had to either set my phone down or it was going through the wall...lol. Thankfully I picked setting the phone down. After a little bit of time had passed I went back to try it again and magically it mounted like a champ. Haven't unmounted since...lol. I would just keep trying until it takes, I've also read that a possible format and reinserting it has worked for some people. Honestly, that's all I did to get it to mount.

I had the same issue with the KingsModFormat failing until I installed The Amon_RA and then it worked fine. Although I didn't want to really go to Amon_RA it was worth it and worked just fine than.

I've been running the Netflix Alliance 7.3 Themed since last Thursday and here's the only issues I've found so far (minor ones but still in case there's a fix)...

1.Can't place the the Photo Album or Frame (HTC) widget or the 2nd option Calendar (HTC) widget.

2. When trying to attach a picture to a message (SMS) it doesn't always attach on the first try, sometimes it takes several attempts before it attaches.

3. It runs out of battery rather quickly. Way faster than it did before this ROM.

4. I don't always get my notifications for new texts. If I open the messages I'll see the new messages but no led or notification alert all the time.

Other than that I love it and yes the 3d carousel is highly addictive, although I couldn't get a screenshot of it to show off in a post.
Overall I love it. Thank you!

P.S. Bluetooth works fine for me.
