Juice Defender and Blockbuster Help

Alright, so it's normal now thank god. Though when a 1800-1900 battery is out without a huge door, I'll buy it for extra battery :D .

Thanks for all the assistance guys.

Also a few charging questions.

Say I finish charging like now, and I am not using it , should I charge it or leave there in sleep?

edit: also it's 94 now.

It sounds like it is running normal now. See what happens over the next few hours. Just remember, keeping/turning the display on wakes up the phone and burns battery keeping the display on. I still think that 40-80% display is too huge but that's what most people are getting so oh well.
Hello forgetful I would love a run down of bump charging so that I can have a normal battery, last night I went to bed took phone off charger because it was full woke up phone dead. Today a lot of people helped me I realized that by hitting the home button that did not mean that the app was closed so I now hit the back button and I also downloaded Dolphin HD so that when I surf the web I can actually exit it instead of going backwards and not knowing if it is truly closed. I also changed the way I sync to 4 hours and since 10:30 am I just got the 15% battery need charging indication, so I got good battery today but I think it happens when phone is supposed to be in sleep mode. Im Afraid that I will wake up tomorrow to a dead phone again unless I turn it completely off.

Optimal charging for lithiums is about 40%. This will prolong the batterys life. You can charge it whenever but if It's not a hassle try for 30 to 50 %. Just remember that once It's charged the charger completely shuts off. So if you leave it plugged in for a long time it will actually eat battery. This is why some people experience a huge drop when unplugging.

If I were your I'd run the the battery to empty, so the phone shuts off. Then turn the phone back on and charge to green LED. Now unplug and turn off completly. Once it's turned off plug it back in (while still off) and charge to green. Now turn it back on and let it set for an hour. After this hour check the app "Spare Parts" like I had Iceycold do. You should be getting "time without sleep" about 5-20%.
What we're trying to accomplish here is "teaching" your phone what a full battery looks like. Don't run it to empty often if possible. Once in a while is Okay though.

Bump charging is what is underlined.

Just follow the instructions I gave Iceycold to see if your phone is sleeping and it it's not the "partial wake" usage in "spare parts" will point to what's taking life.

Over a 8 hour period last night when I was sleeping my phone lost 6% life. I do turn wifi/gps/blue tooth/data OFF when I'm sleeping since there is no need to update the weather, email, facebook when I'm asleep.

I'd recommend setting up a control panel on one of your homepages like seen in this post. It's really useful to control all your settings.

wow this is great tysm:) I didn't install spare parts yet Im going to try to install it now before phone completely dies.

Good idea. That way when you turn in on after the full charge it'll be ready for examination.

I'm not too sure what exactly you're talking about. You want your phone to sleep when the display is off. Is idle sleep?
yes i mean sleep I see people use different times before screen blacks I have mine set to 1 minute. It completely died I turned it back on and its charging

Everything good so far. Been txting 1-7 messages, idle for the most part 84 battery that sounds good?

Mine is set at 30 seconds. But even then I normally hit the power button when I'm done messing with the phone.

Sounds in the range of normal. Just keep checking spare parts every now and then to look for rogue apps. Syncing will burn life and I'm syncing almost nothing automatically so I feel like I'm getting good life. Also my display is at 25 so that helps.

My usage-
16 hours unplugged. I was sleeping for 8 of those hours. 44 percent remaining.
1.6 hours of internet
40 mins of Pandora
25 mins of angry birds
decent amount of just messing around with the phone.

Do you turn off background data, and auto sync? and manually sync weather etc because I notice even with it turned off it will auto sync whats needed, so maybe turning Background data off is a good idea?

I have background data and sync on. But the only thing that is allowed to sync in that menu is weather. And that's only every three hours. I remember with my Dinc I had market issues when I tried turning background data off. You can always try it and see what happens.

So the others that are there, don't sync at all? If not I forgot if there is an option that we can pick that says never sync. because your right I would rather pick what i wanted to sync instead of all or nothing.
