Just back from seeing/playing with S10 line in person

You actually just swayed me. I was going to get the "living coral" as it looks more orange than pink to me. But the flamingo pink name made me think twice. I cancelled my BB pre order, (blue) lost my 3/8 pick up date, and got the Coral instead. I bought the blue s9 and wasn't impressed. Looks like the s10 blue is also a bit underwhelming. I just hope I don't catch hell from my friends and co-workers over my flamingo pink phone!

I just played with the S10. Sucks that TMO didn't have the plus. Also couldn't test out the fps. I notice a new version of Samsung Notes.

I am an iPhone X original owner. I pre-ordered the S10. My wife is a Samsung user. I went today to play with the demo. Could not believe how great the screen is. The camera is great. The size I agree is really good woth the +. I am going to change from regular to +. Excited about this phone for sure.

Quick question. Is the band around the phone (silver / rose gold) Polished or matte ? Hard to tell from videos. Some videos show a nice polished look others show matte.

It's absolutely gorgeous but is sadly not available in the S10+. But it's really gorgeous. All of this really doesn't mean that much as we'll all be using a case which will cover up whatever color you choose.

You'd be surprised. Many of us prefer the aesthetic and feel of using the phone without a case, so choosing a color is even more important. There have been plenty of threads about that before.

It is good to know that "berry pink" is more of a coral or orange. That's how it looked online.

I pre-ordered the regular S10 in white, and will look to buy one case for active days and traveling. I'm thinking of either going with the red leather, or either the yellow or coral silicon case.

Just played with them at Best Buy and they make my Note 9 seem like it's from the 1980's.

Could not test the fingerprint scanner, I believe it was not available in the demo units.

The Best Buy I went to only had black and prism white colors. I’d really like to see the flamingo. I loved the prism white.

I did order through The Verizon website. It was very easy actually. But that said, I don't see any significant downside to buying an unlocked phone from BB. Being unlocked you will lose a couple of Verizon-only features but nothing that really matters and you have a phone that you can use with any other carrier. Many people prefer to own unlocked phones. Just be sure to check out those colors! I was really turned off by the white and (to a lesser extent) the blue. Good luck.

I was at my local Best Buy earlier tonight and played with the S10 Plus and I must say I absolutely loved the 10 plus. It's shorter and narrower than my Note 9. Much easier to hold in my hands. I have no regrets pre-ordering this bad boy. Now I'm heading over to Amazon and find myself a case. Now I can't wait until I get my hands on my phone, and hopefully it ships out early. T-Mobile is good for that.

Good point Jay. I stand corrected wifi calling and visual voicemail are important features.

I just got back from ATT and comparing an S10 Plus vs a Note 9 I think the S10 Plus feels better in MY hand than the Note?!

A little lighter and a tad thinner. I'm still undecided whether to go for the S10 Plus or Note 9 or wait for the Note 10?!

If I do go for the S10 Plus it'll be the Black version which would be new to me since I've never had a Black phone.

I just went and looked at them at best buy. Solid device, the 2 most noticeable things for myself are how incredibly light the s10+ was. The other thing that I noticed before anything is the eyesore of hole punch off to the side. That for me is a deal breaker. This one had a fingerprint "demo" all it did was fake unlock as soon as a finger was placed in the area. Its hard to say how good it will actually work when it comes to real life.

The screen is very very nice, and it had a very fluid feel to the software. I am going to be that person who cannot get past that off center hole punch camera. If it was in the middle of the s10+ I would probably preorder it. Im sure this phone will make plenty of people happy.

From the few minutes I spent playing with the S10 I would say it was pretty smooth like the P3XL and the screen got real bright. I like how the live focus had some new features and I like the super wide angle capability.

I had originally ordered prism white and so did my husband from Samsung but then I canceled and went to Best Buy but they only had black on display. I like the metallic looking back of the white and even the blue but than I broke down and just did the flamingo pink to be different. I figured if I don't like it I'll have a case on it. But I still think the prism white looks nice I kind of liked the blue and pink kind of look it had on the back.

All I know is I cannot wait to get this phone. I'm so excited!

I played with them at Best Buy and I didn't feel like it was a must have for me. I wish I could've played around with the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, but you can't on demo units.

I'm going to wait and see what the Note 10 brings to the table.

I saw the white one today in BestBuy and did not like it at all. It isn't completely white unless u look at it from an angle.
