Just got gingerbread ota!!

I've been running rooted custom GB roms for months now. But a week or so ago I tried an EH03 version and they have been AWESOME! GPS locks almost instantly! I am flashing back to stock now and hopefully will be getting the OTA too.

For all those who may have forgotten, you need to turn WiFi OFF before you can do an OTA update.

WOOT! Finally.....Did OTA. This is my second Fascinate and it was locking up prior to OTA a lot. I think I will keep it since I put a request for replacement. That would have been my 3rd Fascinate. Well see how this goes

I did too but I ODINed back to stock so I can get this update.

Just did the OTA to GB. My GPS also seems to lock on faster now and signal strength might be better too.

+1... I was running a custom ROM, SC EH03 (basically this GB update) for a week now and it has been great!

With as long as it took for us to get Froyo, I'm really surprised we got Gingerbread this quickly! Does this mean ICS is a future possibility?

Can someone test Google Map and Navigation? I heard EH03 causes force close Map and Navigation.

My GPS locked on in Google Maps in about 15 seconds. I haven't tried Navigation yet.

Just saw the post on the homepage. Downloading it now. I went back to stock earlier this week cause I'm selling this phone when the Galaxy Nexus comes out. Only took Verizon a year to get this phone on Gingerbread.
