Nexus OTA updates to Android 4.4.2 are pushing out now

Speaking of the audio. Did anyone see the test on Arstechnica? They basically said that the G2 and the N5 have something causing clipping in the left channel. I think they tested 4.4.1.

They said the audio level on the G2 is lower than the N5 which lessens the problem. It's odd that the N5 would be made louder which would exacerbate the problem.

Just got 4.4.2 also. "Seems" like they?ve done something to the volume problem as I was just considering a RMA. I can play music now!! Haven?t tried earphones yet.

For people who have flash updates in recovery, do you need to clear delvik/cache first?

I got prompted for the 4.4.2 update. I clicked to download and install it. It rebooted to install, and I was met with a ClockworkMod error that forced the installation to abort. When I rebooted into Android (4.4), the System Update checker tells me I'm up to date with 4.4.

Anyone else run into this? Any ideas?

I am with Telus in Toronto and I just got 4.4.2 as well.

Must be nice! I'm with Virgin in Mississauga and I haven't been prompted for even 4.4.1 yet.

One thing that I've noticed right away is more accurate screen auto brightness. The screen used to stay unreasonably bright in darker environments, but so far, after the update, seems to keep the screen darker in low-light environments. Hopefully this will decrease battery use by the screen a bit.

Installed the update. It does all the things it says it does. Now that the camera has been tweaked, I have no regrets going with this phone.
