Just left BB with the 6p, questions please

Can you please tell me where you purchased the 6p for 399?I am going to be purchasing this phone at the end of the month and am trying to find the best deal available. Thanks..
I was able to get best buy to come down to 399. You have to find the right person. Some will work with you and some won't. Ask several times too. Also try and find a price match. That helps.

Thanks for the help guys. Would like to get one for 399. Can't do project fi though. I'm already on Verizon.

This isn't the 32 gig one but the 128 gig version... And right now it's the best price I've seen for it. My take is your not going to see these for less. Best Buy, B&B, Newegg and others have actually raised prices and aren't discounting them because the demand has increased.. I don't know how many of these new ones they have in Stock but wouldn't take too long to order it

Wow. That's quite a deal. I'd love to have that myself. I could always take mine back. Very tempting. They must have a stockpile of the 128s to sell that low.

Taking a look at that link shows it to be the international version of the 6P. Just a heads up if you're considering.

Nice catch. I think im going to stick with my 32g. I don't download hardly anything. Most of my music is Pandora or YouTube. Pics go to google. Selective on my apps which goes for all my phones. If I ever fill this up it'll be time to wipe and sell it. My Sony is a 32g but I've got a 64g SD card in it. I do take tons of pics with me being a real estate appraiser. I typically work from my Sony bc it's easy to use one hand and keep in my pocket. On the flip side my appraisal software has an app and this Nexus is big enough that I could actually utilize it and fill out a lot of my forms when I'm at the property inspecting and measuring. I initially was torn between this and the honor 8. After a few days with the Honor I decided to grab this instead. This is a great phone and the resolution is awesome. It's quick too. It's a better phone than the honor was to me.

Highly considering getting this if there is a black Friday deal on it. I still have my iphone 6s plus and plan to just switch in between phones when i feel like using either or.

How is your free space on the 32GB? Out of the box, how much space was left over? I dont plan to use the nexus 6P for more than a year as I will probably get the new iphone 8 or whatever new samsung phone comes out. I had the Note 7, until I had to return it. Liked it, but battery life was very poor.
How is the battery life of the nexus 6p? More than 10 hours?

So I am thinking 32GB would be ideal if the price is dropped.

Thoughts?

Yes, you will be just fine with the 32g. I thought for some reason I just had to have the 64g but the price difference wasn't worth it. What type of deal are you thinking you might get on your Nexus 6p. I got mine for $399. I thought that was pretty good. If you are able to get it cheaper than that then you are getting the deal of the century! Up until this year I was exclusive apple all the way. I've found this Nexus 6p to be flat out awesome. The other brand I like just as much is Motorola. I had the Z Force and truly as smooth software interface and layout goes, I've found both phones to almost be identical other than I paid $700 plus for the Z Force. There is not a better phone on the market for this price as I've tried just about all the Android lines now. The worst to me was Samsung. Their software was choppy and sticky. It lagged. I had both the s7 and s7 Edge. Great phones but the most important thing to me is seamless smooth software interface just as apple has. I have hardly used any space and out if the box if I remember correctly, you will have 28 to 29gs left to use. I ask around and most told me that 32gs is hard to use all up unless you are a huge downloader. I stream most everything so the only space my phone is using are from my apps which hardly touches the gigs. I believe you will be big time pleased with this phone. If you can get best buy to come down to $399 as I did, it's worth it. Big time.

Thanks for the feedback! Ever since the nexus 6p came out I was curious about it. My first android phone was the note 7 which I did not like at all. Battery life was not the same as my iPhone. How is the battery life for the nexus?

I'm hoping the price drops to $399 like yours, since I cannot find that price anywhere right now, even on Amazon. Did you just price match Amazon at best buy? I'll do that too if I find it cheaper .

I got mine at Best Buy last week and used my best buy card. They give you 10% off when you buy an unlocked phone on your card. So mine ended up being about $405. Plus when I switched back from the Note 7 to my Note 5, and activated Samsung pay, Samsung gave me a $40 rewards Visa card that I applied to the purchase of the Nexus 6p. Therefore I ended up coming out of pocket $364 before tax. Couldn't pass it up.

It's unfortunate that most people that leave the iPhone to try Android go right to Samsung. Then they get a bad experience, and blame Android as a whole. I too tried plenty of "non Nexus" and the experience is never as good. Especially Samsung software, I like how a member above put it, "choppy" and "sticky". Perfect description. Nexus ftw.

Any time I see on a forum where someone is talking about taking the Android plunge (or did) and is looking at or got a Samsung phone and wasn't happy with the experience I try to tell them to take off the Samsung blinders and look at other Android OEMs as Motorola, HTC and LG all bring different experiences, with Motorola being the closest to a Nexus device. Like you, I get SOO mad that people put down the entire OS/ecosystem because they had a bad experience with ONE manufacturer that has been known to bloat devices.

Yes, all those oem's you mentioned have a much better experience than Samsung IMO.

The battery life is great I've found. Even watching movies on it or just heavy use its a far superior battery than your typical iPhone. Samsung too. The battery is impressive. I promise you this. Being an all exclusive apple user, this phone will be an all around better experience. I may get the iPhone 8 but to be honest, this seamless and smooth software interface I may not. This by far the best phone I've ever owned. The Moto Z Force is very similar but you will spend 300 more dollars. I was able to sweet talk the girl into price matching Amazon but it was not shipped and sold by Amazon. I just flirted with her. Made her smile and laugh and she did it for $399. Give it a shot. Find a girl. This technique I suggest it not to be for a guy lol. Even if you pay 425 it's still the best phone on the market at this price. It's super fast. It has zero lag and is smooth and seamless. Plus you can trade your iPhone in at best but. Youll come out dollars ahead for trading.

I just wanted to say again if you had both the Motorola original Droid or the Z Force and this phone all unmarked that it would be very hard to tell which is which. Motorola is very close to stock Android but with that high price tag. Id put this phone up against the Z Force any day. They are almost identical. Don't get me wrong I loved my Z Force but I didn't want to be with Verizon anymore and switched to Cricket which runs off AT&T towers anyway so coverage is great. You will have a hard time finding a better phone than this even if you pay 650. This phone at 399 is unbelievably awesome.
