Keep getting request from gmail account to sign in as I have typed an incorrect password

Have had this message 60/70 times a day for past 3 weeks - it would be funny except that I still receive the emails on that account - on the phone Its a gs4 any help to solve this will be gratefully received

Well, do one thing try going to the settings>accounts> remove the gmail account and then again try adding it !! this issue will get resolved.
