Keeping screen on during a call

Hi

I have a samsung galaxy s8 and i am slightly annoyed

Used to have iphones and this is my first samsung

When i take a call and when its either on speaker or handsfree the screen goes black after a few seconds

My display turn off is 2 minutes so cant be that and also i have a pin so having to unlock the phone is so annoying especially when you have to press a dial button during the call

Can anyone help?

noticed if i am on a call it takes 35 seconds for the screen to go off.

if however if i on a call and press the home button so my home screen shows then my screen does not turn off until it hits the time of the 'screen timeout' i set up

strange any help?

Tried everything even got Samsung tech to do remote connection.

Maybe it is a feature on the Samsung phone but it does annoy me.
