I am OCD about spelling and grammar, and I worry about that aspect. My one 'child' is 29, lol.
Also handwriting skills, and the joy of settling in to a great book and bookmarking it (real bookmarks).
I am sure with the right guidance kids can do all of these and use devices.
Once a nerd alway a nerd, right.
Troubling discussion on the radio today, relating to older kids, teens, twenties is they base their social value and worth on their online status. In this case, many were videoing the aftermath of a (rare) mother and daughter (16) suicide on the London Underground / Subway and uploading them. Very disturbing for me.
A little off topic but I don't want kids to lose compassion and think everything is an unreal video game.
On Edit: I said I was OCD about grammar, I didn't say I was good at it.
