lol...ok if that it, im not worried about it.

I have a 16gig Sandisk, by the time it goes, ill be on a new contract (sept 2011) with a nexgen phone anyway, with a micro XDSD 128gig....lol

When I first went to opt 4, the audio cut out randomly almost every time I started. After about a week it magically fixed itself. It cuts out...but very very rarely. Sometimes I think it's primarily if something else needs to use the audio, ie. playing a game while listening to tunes, etc.

But like I said, it's very rare now. That's just my experience, don't know if it helps.

When I did option 4, the second I got off a call, BOOM, there went the audio. Also, if I wanted to change the "In-Call Volume" that would instantly cut out the audio in the middle of a call. I had to use the ERIS patch from xda to fix this. I just recently flashed Sugarfree Kool-Aid, and didn't use the ERIS patch hopin the audio problem was resolved. Again... the second I got off a call, there went the audio, and also when adjusting In-Call volume, I immediately lose audio. The only way it won't happen is if I flash the ERIS patch.

Now, I hear there's a new radio file in the official Sprint 2.1 release. I know Beezy is working on a flashable file (you rock BTW ).
I'm tryin to get away from that ERIS patch, because the phone doesn't seem as responsive after I use that patch

Wifi Tether not working with Sugar Free

I flashed Sugar Free this morning, which runs superfast and stable, but when i downloaded wifi tether from the market I can set it up but my laptop sees it as a peer-to-peer connection and ignores the encryption that the tether says it's using. Any ideas?

Interesting. I really don't understand the radio differences and such I guess...and how it would affect the sound? I thought the radio was the chip that decodes/encodes to communicate through the antenna?

I never did apply the Eris Patch before. But like I said, it still had the occasional issue. I'm interested to learn more about this radio update stuff - any good reference? or info?

I cant think of a link for reference,but the radio i put up is what you would have if you would ran ruu.It SHOULD give you better signal and a little better battery(key word should).I wasn't going to flash the radio but i wouldn't put it up without testing,I have had a better signal.For battery i couldn't say as ive been testing a lot today.Your right it won't fix the audio loss.There might be a fix for that soon.I will surely let everyone know about it.

Beezy, I flashed the 2.1 sugarfree but it didnt seem to work with the livewallpapers mod, and when i nandroided it, it didnt save everything i had done so im back to option 4 + livewallpapers and still liking it and dont really see anything wrong with it. I'll probably wait until next revision unless you have some pointers

So i started experiencing the restart issue which i didn't have in option 4. I uninstalled Handcent which someone said was the reason for the problem, and testing it now. The weird part is that i never had issues with Handcent in option 4 so don't know why know would be a problem. I want to say that the restart might have something to do with pandora or some sort of audio conflict cause that is when it seems to happen most

The files for livewallpapers won't work right on this rom because the new rom isn't deodexd and all the others are.Im working on getting it all switched over,but i got so many things going on i almost lose track of where my head is.lol.The only major difference in 4 an kool aid is bootsceen and sprintnavi icon is round.As soon as i can ill be getting it all token care of.

I have resorted to the lock pattern which is a pain in the ass, but not as bad as the pocket calls you make from using the stock lock screen.

Thanks,i was talking with someone else about a donate,im still unsure weather or not ill put one up.I haven't heard of any yet that work right.If you don't use the stock alarm clock at then we can pull that lock and then you should default back to the slide lock.

I probably should of worded it better,but since you don't use alarm clock im going to make sure first.We can delete the stock lock and it should default to the one you like.

It seems like its more bugs in this version: The browser constantly resets, calendar issues. The good news is that facebook sync works well in this version and the double pressing of menu doesn't cause the options to pop up as opposed to option 3 which I went back to.

Hopefully we can get some fixes later. Thanks to all that work hard on these roms
