i just realized when i looked at my tools folder that the koush-recovery was installed when i originally set up droid root pro like a week ago. haha im a dumb a$$

Mount system first but yep

mount sd card or the usb storage? im assuming sd, right?

oh and when i try to press the camera key to select wipe cache and wipe data it does react for some reason. any ideas why?

edit... i am stuck. im in koush's recovery but the camera button will not do anything. i cant even reboot to just go back to what it was at before. i have no idea why it is not reacting

ok so im going for it in one second. just one last question. sombody said to change the name of his recovery image to koush-recovery. so before i put it in the tools folder and reboot it into recovery from droid root pro, i change the name from "recovery-clockwork-1.4.1-sholes" to "koush-recovery"? just want to make sure i ask that last question

That's the only way i got the recovery image to install when i used droid root pro. The rom worked fine without the image, but there was no options to make backups or restores.

i hope sombody comes on here soon to give me some sort of idea of what to do. the first person who can help me get s a cookie haha. i was thinking about pulling the battery but i dont know if that will completely screw up or potentially brick my phone

slide the keyboard out and use the enter key. with this recovery you use the enter key instead of the camera button. I don't know if you have to mount either, i didn't when i installed it.

Use the dpad and enter button to navigate koush's recovery img

If you don't have the options you haven't flashed his new img. The k Droid rootpro and make sure you don't have the old one in their anymore and if so replace it with the new one use the same name

haha ok that might work. i know i have to wipe data and wipe cache but which do i mount? the usb or the sd?

Neither you shouldn't need to mount the usb at all
Sorry should have been more specific when using root pro mount the system read and write prior to flashing the recovery img

No reboot and move all the zip files of the root is your sdcard except those that are needed for the Rom. It can only display so many Zip files

I finally did it huhs. This is extremely faster than droid mod. Thanks everybody for your help

Mine are about the same speed as they were before I don't know I may flash another rom just to check the difference
Browser definitely is slower than some other builds at the same clock speed don't know Mabey it will be fixed in a later build
