Just installed this on me and my fiance's phones today thanks to the help from DA6. This rom is awesome to say the least. Whole new world coming form blackberry land.
 
I'm enjoying this ROM so far... just as stable as the droidmodder... Does anyone have any links to documentation on this? Such as add-ons or scripts to enable/disable stuff? I cannot find a base thread for this one and ending up using Rom Manager to load it up...

one thing i found in installing latest rom was that it did not properly rename the recovery-from-boot.p (stock recoery stuff). Thus after installing, and then rebooting once, the stock recovery was back on there. I had to reflash clockwork recovery and manually rename that file.... Maybe this has since been fixed, but to me, a pretty serious bug as you could be left with stock recovery unknowingly.... has anyone else noticed this?
 
I just went back to this rom, and I am finding I have much (on the magnitude of seconds) faster window transitions when I don't have setCPU installed, than I did when I was running at 800 MHz. When overclocked, sometimes the move from homescreen to messaging app (or whatever) took 2-3 seconds, plus loading time. Now they take like 1 second, 1.5 max.

Anyone else having a similar experience?
 
Spare parts increased the initial screen movement, but then the screen blacked out for the requisite time (1 to 2 seconds past the transistion). Or (for example) the messenger app would load, but my texts wouldnt appear for another 1-2 seconds. This was with my settings at "fast" (one above normal).

For this re-flash, I haven't touched spare parts yet.
 
So your problem is more of a loading issue that anything else try Droid swap that moves cache to your sdcard may help with the loading
 
Ok DA, i'm looking at you...you too Bizz. How about the Desire camera software, you get it working on this ROM yet?
 
I see 5.0.5.4 is out, has anybody installed yet? Anybody know what's new in it?
I'm waiting for it to download to my phone right now.
 
Just threw it on as well. No difference (anyone seen a changelog?), but my LED notification is working.
 
Just a heads up for those that don't know yet rom manager will now partition your sdcard for a2sd and Linux swap
 
just install this rom. so far love it. however i cant find the icon for the market now. anyone have this happen also?
