laggy htc browser on sprint after lollipop

Well I took the chance and updated my Sprint M8. Few small quirks, but overall it's a nice update. Only major annoyance is terribly choppy scrolling in HTC browser.
Updated it, cleared data, still its garbage. Chrome works smoothly but I hate having to reach the top right corner for bookmarks.
