Leaked DL30 Froyo Build Available NOW! (Includes Full Instructions: Updated 2/5)

Okay so, here's my findings:

• Notification bar is now solid black
• Added "Mobile data" and "Auto Rotation" quick icons to notification bar
• Haptic feedback is significantly weaker
• UI changes, added fonts, darker menu's
• Samsung Keypad is now included
• GOOGLE IS INCLUDED!!!
• Significantly less bloatware
• Root is retained
• Desk cradle app is slightly modified
• Other minor UI changes
• Overall seems to be speedier, transitions much smoother
• Battery icon doesn't display device is charging when it's still showing full (bug?)

I'll add more as I find more.

Email Issues

The only issue I've noticed so far is with my email. Not sure if anyone else has encountered this issue. My (pop mail) account (Time Warner) email will not display a folder for the Inbox. Messages load and it displays the number of email but when I click on Menu and select folders, I have 3 Sent Folders. No Inbox. I'm Lost. I've removed the account and readded several times but to no avail. The first time I booted after installing the DL30 it showed me as having 5 Trash Folders and no Inbox. Then I removed the account and reinstalled to find 3 Sent Folders and no Inbox. STUMPED. Otherwise Loving the DL30

It doesn't like something you had. Try again. Wipe data and cache in CWM before installing. Worst case, flash a stock DL09 image in Odin.

How long is it supposed to take when you flash CWR red into the phone? Mine's been at the "downloading" screen for about 30 minutes. Was wondering if this is normal or not.

Had the same issue when I tried it. I don't use the stock email app and K-9 Mail was reinstalled with Titanium Backup. Try that.

What does Odin say? Should be under 10 seconds.

Pull the battery, plug in USB, launch Odin on your PC, hold volume down on the phone until it says Download, flash your DL09 md5 with the PDA button.

Waiting for this thread to explode to 20+ pages in 5, 4, 3, 2.....

Only took 5 hours.

Update to Sound Settings

Sound and Display Settings are now separated: the Sound Settings menu has been totally revamped from what was previously available.

Under Settings>Sound settings> Volume you can now slide adjust all on one screen:

Incoming Call Volume
Media Volume
System Volume
Notification Volume​

PLUS you can select to Use incoming call volume (aka rocker volume buttons) for notifications. Nice update!

**EDIT**

New toggle for Screen lock/unlock sounds
New Vibration intensity slider adjustment (default is full blast)

How important is the wipe? The instructions didn't mention it at all, do they just expect the user to know that a wipe is important before applying the new zip? Or is it not? I am up and running with a lot of hiccups (dialer isnt linked to phone shortcut by default and FCs upon opening being the first and biggest i noticed.)

I used Touchdown for one Exchange account and Roadsync for my second one. I haven't tried the built-in client yet. Is that the only place you're experiencing issues?

Everyone else, I'm starting to see a lot of different procedures. If there's one people should be following instead of the one I wrote up, please PM me or respond to this post.

BTW Innocare keeps telling me there's an update available now. Not sure what that's all about and I'm not sure if I dare accept it.

Well this is my first time rooting, CWM, flashing... you name it my cherry was all on popped today. First attempt = Force Close loop... :'(

Second Attempt = Pure BLISS!!!

So far so good... Android Market app still hasn't updated yet. However, having google voice search and google search back is awesome. The new GMAIL, GTALK, YouTube apps are a nice touch. Overall very happy with experience.

so far I've noticed if you have FB (through SNS) and Google contacts, it won't match them up automatically anymore. it will list them separately. however, the FB app does sync up contacts for you without having to get friends first like the SNS FB app does.
