Lets clear things: How much screen on time are you getting on a charge?

(multi-selection) your average screen on time on a charge? your standby battery loss (if you know)

Try updating Google services it worked for me. After the update its barely on my list of usage anymore.
I'm fairly certain I have the latest Google Play Services.
Right so what do we do? My battery isn't horrible by any means but I get the impression giving this would extend it further

I might try disabling Google Play Services and then letting it re-update.

I have the latest push and Google play services updated. All went well for 2 days then cell standby and other Google items started showing up again. I went from this to this after about two days. But my SoT and standby times are more or less the same as before the updates.

I normally don't bring up this sort of thing because it focuses on the wrong part of the thread, but you guys deserve props for completely ignoring the troll's attempt to once again derail the thread. You guys successfully ignored it and moved on, continuing the productive conversation without anyone taking the bait. Great job, that's exactly what we're looking for. Thanks!

I want to also thank you for all of your hard work that you do both visibly and behind the scenes. We need more like you around here. So from all of us who just want to share our thoughts and experiences and limit any controversy, a big thanks to you.

With the Samsung push and Google play services updated, I originally didn't see cell standby or play services for two days.

Then they are back... Pic in a moment, can't edit in a photo

See what I mean? This is after two days of the update. Yet after testing, I'm still getting great SoT and standby, so I'm not too concerned.

Why is it that the T-Mobile version of the phone gets less battery life? Im on AT&T and get about 5-6hours of SoT, but my girlfriends T-Mobile S6 only gets 3-4?

I have AT&T S6 with most crap removed and "OK Google" disabled. I'm getting 2 hours screen on time and left with 30% battery. I think battery life is pretty crappy. The phone heats up too much for tethering with screen off too.

Getting 5 hours on average, yesterday's was 4.5 hours but I had 23% battery left. Not getting any heating issues at all.

I wish I got that kind of time on my s6 edge. Mine does not even come close to my last two phones, the 6 plus and the Note 4. I rarely get over 3 hours of screen on time with a single charge. Often it is less than 2 hours and 45 minutes.

This is what scares me about getting S6..great CPU ...great Camera I could make great use of...good Speaker..
BUT - this would be a problem for me as a heavy user.
I get about 3.5- 4.5 hours SOT on my Alpha- but pop in a spare Battery.
Hoping Samsung has a S6 Pro or a variation of S6 Active with No Hardware buttons no oversized Armor...
Just a thicker S6 with a big Battery- and they may have to call it Note 5 Compact to avoid angering the S6 users....lol.
And it will have to be expensive ..a Marketing Tier that avoids conflict with S6-
Note Compact with 5.0 or 5.1" screen....or Note Pro..just a Note Type ( no stylus) or an S6 Pro with big battery (with a different name).
OR a nice graphite/ plastic/ or metal backplate for replaceable Battery like Alpha has......Productivity Devices don't need pretty backs.
Also as an Active Person- I was afraid of carrying a medium or larger Phone (5.0" or even smaller like Z3 Compact) because of " Pocket Flex" screen breaking from bending in front pocket.
The Metal Phones like Alpha /S6 are more Rigid, Durable less breakable and require smaller Cases- great!
I don't care about the back very much ESPECIALLY if I can carry a spare Battery.

I get on average about five and a half to six hours of screen on time. I have even gotten seven hours of screen on time a couple of times

A couple of hours, I have a job that requires me using a computer. Don't have time to fiddle with my phone.

the current discussion is wrongly headed. There are people complaining about bad battery with 4-5hr sot, there are people beinf happy with 3 hr sot. There are people suggesting 7hr sot.

If people don't even know what are the average expectation, there is no way to tell him or her if the phone is normal or not, or if there is a problem to be worried about at all..

The OP asked for Simple Battery Screen on Times
and what Network you are on.
Very few of you are including this info in your Posts... ¿?

They will vary of course but with enough Stats people like myself who might possibly buy an S6 can get a better idea.

Very few of you here are actually posting SOTs (?) instead debating other things...
Post your SOTs , then make your other points like there are too many Battery Threads or what does this Symbol mean 《¤》 and why is Robertkoa even here if he does not have an S6 yet.

"And what is that smart *** symbol-:does he think he's funny or what?"

I am using Xtrestolite odexed pure edition 1.0 Stable version.

There are definitely issues with the battery. I'm on AT&T and I have the regular s6 and I am lucky to get 2.5 SOT with about 6 hours of usage. My fiance has the s6 edge and her battery stats are about the same. If I format the phone and don't install anything I still get 2.5 hrs SOT but I get better standby time.

Maybe I have a lemon and need to send it off, but it seems a lot of people are averaging 2.3 to 3 hrs screen on time, not just on these forums but others I know who have the phone.
