Hate driving in Trussville. Getting to Metro Diner or Taco Mama can be a hassle, but worth it ultimately. I grew up in Alabaster. My wife's job took us to Atlanta for a year. Most of the past 9 years have been in Highland Park and Irondale. Finally bought a house in Robuck Springs in October 2019.

That's a very cool area. I'm glad it's making a comeback. When I was young in the 70s we took 4th Ave thru there going from CP to Avondale every Sunday. I remember all the cool houses along the way.

Drive a little further north on 11 and try Halfshells Oyster House. Pretty good.

It's been on our radar for quite some time. We're both vaccinated now so that might happen soon. Loooove oysters.

I should clarify, we've been strictly take out food since February 2020. We have a 14 month old.
