The back buttons are fantastic. My old Galaxy nexus was constantly on low volume instead of vibrate (I only use vibrate and light flow for notifications) due to the accidental pushing of the buttons. That has been eliminated on this phone. I almost feel as if I cannot go back to side buttons ever again.
Knock on/off is also a fantastic feature. I use it a lot and it is reliable. I am also one of the people who knock on the screen of other devices to wake them up. Oops.
Adding battery life to these features is the icing on the cake. Let's face it, most consumers have battery issues and it is probably the biggest hindrance to modern devices. This phone somehow just amazes in that category. Once I got rid of the Facebook app, my battery life has been in the stratosphere. If you are a mid-to-low user, you'll probably have to only charge it every other day to every third day. It's that good.
