Ridiculous to announce a phone but not announce carrier dates. I'm eagerly anticipating seeing this phone as it is between this one and the M8, I can upgrade July 9th!

I am an ATT rep and we just got an email yesterday about an LG Webinar beginning on Monday 7/7 and that we needed to have the device in stock for "Launch 7/11". The exact wording is as follows:

and announcement of another famous thinklg.com Earn & Learn a G3 device!!

(hint: you will want to have G3 in stock to prepare for the launch 7/11 and Earn and Learn)

My best friend who is an AT&T manager confirmed the same information as Dumb1. Funny how they are the last of the major carriers to announce a release date, which they still haven't done, but they are the first to have the phone available to purchase. I'll have my G3 soon enough!

Where did you hear this? This is an important part of my overall decision on buying this phone. I use a wireless charger on my current GS3 and love it.

Still wondering if they will eliminate any trace of the Qi charging on the g3?

The US carriers wanted LG to not include wireless charging so they can sell you their aftermarket accessories. You will still be able to wirelessly charge your G3, you'll just have to spend a little more money.

I guess there's always the concern the AT&T will bork the Qi standard wireless in the G3 because they signed on for PMA(?) standard? Has it been confirmed that AT&T did this with other devices?

It has been confirmed that the G3 WILL be available IN STORES on 7/11!! Just got out of a conference with ATT and LG and it has been confirmed. If any mods need picture confirmation PM me and I will provide it.

Really? Someone on XDA got their hands on one the other day and said it was 3/32.
