LG G3 Lock Screen 'Weather Animation' Broken?

Mine also has only worked when we had a thunder shower. I also thought something was broken on it. Maybe they will have a fix for it or that is just the way it should be.

It only goes off when weather is in your specific location. Mine works flawlessly. The animations are incredibly realistic.

Question how do I set up in the lock screen in order to see the weather effects and weather when I turn on my phone on lock screen.. I have the weather option clicked on under the lock screen option.. Also when you use the circle case ive noticed in the video of the lg g3 with the circle case that it shows a fancy clock in the ring.. I do not see this clock widget in any of the lg g3 default widgets ..

You need some bad weather to see an animation. If weather is boring you see nothing.

They should add in some sunshine or some effect for hot summer days. It's kind of overcast today and still no weather effect. Do I have to use LG 's weather widget for it to work properly?

its an lg thing. mine on lg g2 didnt work a few times.
mine on the g3 didnt work for the first day i had it on but its been working here and there,
lg needs to update there os and fix many things..

I would accept the explanation that the phone needs to react to bad weather only, except for the fact that I can't even check the box to enable animations.

I just recently tried this out and it works, with all the extras from the international version. Except it looks awful. It's not big enough to fit the whole screen??

Small update to this... The cloudy animation fits the screen fine. So I am now completely confused.

Since I fixed mine so it shows every animation (rain, cloudy, thunder, snow, sunny... etc..) it is working fine, minus that issue above where it isn't stretching over the whole screen. ([GUIDE][HOW TO][VS985] All Weather Effects o… | Verizon LG G3 | XDA Forum)

But, honestly, I disabled this. The animations were distracting and didn't look very great. I was expecting better.
