LG G3- storage setting unable to be accessed. Why is it doing this?

LG G3- storage setting unable to be accessed

firstly whenever i try and access the storage option from the settings menu, it shows the proper screen temporarily then suddenly blanks out and the recent apps button ( square one) comes up with nothing on it. i press the home button and nothing happens until i lock it and try pressing the back and home button a few times. after this the screen lags for a few seconds before it goes back to normal.

secondly the blank recent apps screen shows up randomly when im the middle using apps such as youtube and such. no explanation or anything just banks out untill it gets locked and reopened again

anyone have an explanation for especially the storage thing?

Unfortunately this sounds like a fairly serious issue. I would recommend you back up all important data to a computer, and use an app to back up your text messages to a cloud storage. Once all your important stuff (documents, photos, texts, etc) is safe somewhere off the phone, do a factory reset. Please note that this will wipe all your data from the phone (including the SD card if you put one in) and restore it to "new out of the box" settings. This should solve your weird glitches.

If the phone has been dropped or gotten wet this may not solve your problems but hopefully it will.
