Why does everyone lose their minds over the carrier logo but have no issues with the manufacturer's logo? There is usually one on the front, back and start up screen.... Just like the carrier logo. Just weird....

I don't care about the logos, I'm more worried about the cosmetic changes. I really liked the gunmetal color.

I'm seriously considering the vz G3, but the only downside is the continuous onslaught of comments about the logo. It's hard to stay for more than 5 minutes in the G3 forum.

Does anyone know if there will be an Unlocked International Version in the US? Both Europe and Korea already got one. If not, which is the easiest US carrier to unlock/request unlock? I heard all Verizon LTE devices are unlocked, is that true? Can I just put my local GSM network SIM card and call it a day?

i'm gonna buy it when the phone inevitably gets cut down to $99. The S5 is $99 at Costco now; the G3 is gonna get down to that price as well..

Haha, clever. Yes I realize how big a deal I may seem like I'm making out of seemingly nothing but do keep in mind that a) everyone has their preferences, b) people will find a way to complain about everything, and c) perhaps our devices are just so good at what they do a small fault can seem like a bigger issue than it really is. Epitome of first world problems? Yeah, not going to argue there. But I'm not living in a third world country and thus, do not share the same problems and concerns as they do. To belittle my "problems" vis-�-vis those from the third world is, in my opinion, patronizing to both parties... but I digress.

Let's just leave it at agreeing to disagree on this topic as we all eagerly await the G3. I merely wanted to present my personal opinions on the matter, some of which are undoubtedly shared by others with a similar complaint with the excessive use of logos.

Since all Verizon phones are this way it seems somewhat futile to keep complaining about it.

Probably will be in line with the S5 and M8 - I would expect the $29.99 monthly charge. If you have a certain level of data, you get a credit each month. I get a $25 credit as I carry above 10gb - if below the 10gb plan I think it's like $15 a month. So in reality, the device would cost me 4.99 a month.

Look for pre-orders to start on the 10th.
