Was a welcome gift for me as well, but I've liked LG since the Optimus G, which still runs strong. So I would've definitely gotten a G4 if I wasn't still paying for my G3 lol.

The prefer the UI over Sammy and HTC, had a gs3 and HTC one x before. Plus less issues versus those 2, although just my experience.

LG is coming up and I'm glad I stuck with them

Disclaimer.......

I don't wish to start a debate war or throwing nasties, my opinion is exactly that and i don't force it, and accept the logic however daft i believe it to be.

So with that said i have this peeve with cases. I used one one my nexus 5 quite expensive to, (one of those "military drop tested" wow its like placing the title gorilla on glass that we all know shatters easily lol) and it didn't protect it from 1st drop roughly i would say 3ft ish screen shattered.

I have never used a case since and i now don't buy the pitch companies make.

I quite simply don't get the logic cases protect as mine hasn't been an isolated incident many of my friends suffered the same fate.

So that was the one and only case i have & will ever use (i mean if a "military drop tested" cant protect what can?)

So i also like to value the efforts placed by designers of these smartphones who spend countless hours crafting and then a case manufacturer spends 5mins in C.A.D and we all go wow this ones great..

Cases may provide that comfort that its safe (i just wouldn't pin all hopes on that) and like the styles it may add for those. That's fine we all like different things and have different ways of looking at things.

Now skins like Dbrand i like

So who amongst us is rocking their G4 in the buff?

I'm not running naked but I buy a case more to protect it from everyday use vs. dropping it. Every little scratch and the phone devalues.

I have a case but I will admit it's an amazon plastic case. I'm insanely careful with my phones so it's more of a wear and tear protector then anything. i have a screen protector to keep scratches off as well

Don't go by brand, just pick one good looking at eBay for $5.99 and keep it safe from daily use..

It's naked when I'm at home. If I'm leaving the house, it's not worth the risk so i have a Spigen neo hybrid and Verus verge. I also just ordered a metal bumper hoping i can feel safe and still enjoy the leather.

I am right now.

I'm not a fanatic when it comes to cases, however I only have 1 phone and have a job that I can damage my phone quite easily if I am not careful. I have my phone on me except when it is charging and I am asleep.

I have a glass screen protector coming from Amazon and will pick up a case for it soon, in the meantime I am being cautious.

Seems like we are In that cautious world scared to open the front door for fear of the zombie appocolyosps (sorry I'm watching walking dead lol

Its cool but I for one in my military tested haha didn't protect mine, maybe the dropped from space tested ones coming soon I will fair better

Or just don't drop my phone and if I do S happens.

I will never ever feel bad if I dropped my phone.

I would feel bad if anything happens to my daughter or family.

I typically skin my devices, but the leather back is so nice, so I've elected to keep mine naked

I'm not rich by any stretch of the imagination but if my phone drops hmm yeh i would initially be dam, but hand on heart honesty.

I place Zero value on any material item i own...

My value is my Family and health...

Never ever will i hold my phone as valuable its not.

Wealth & the Monetary system is a man made concept.

I haven't bought the G4 yet but have been reading all the positive threads on it - really tempted. For me big things are the amazing camera and the leather casing. The ability to have a microSD card of 2TB is just insanely cool. Not sure how I could use all that, but it's nice to know it's possible
