I just bought a LG G4 H815 and using marshmellow. It seems my phone does not wake up while locked in any way while i am in a dark room or low light room. I have tried everything and it seems it only wakes up when I plug in the charger and then i can put in the pattern to unlock the phone. Otherwise it won't even wake up. I have seen some other users are also facing the same problem. Is there anyone who is facing the same problem ? Has anyone solved this ? TIA.

I've been fighting this problem myself. After l updated this started happening. I called LG today and I'm sending mine in for warranty repair.

@rckymtntim- are you using a tampered glass protector which covers the proximity sensor left of the top speaker ?

Also, did LG suggest that you try anything remedial first, such as a Factory Reset?
Yup, started happening to me too immediately after the 6.0 update from Verizon. Haven't been able to find any solutions so far.
Yes I was using a skinomi screen protector. However, I took it off 2 days prior to my call to support and I still had the problem.
No they didn't suggest that but I had already done the Factory Reset prior to my support call.
This is a problem with marshmallow update. Factory reset won't fix anything. Plug in the charger or put phone next to light source. Or try proximity sensor reset
