To be able to confidently snap a photo in moments that matter easily and high quality are absolutely worth the tradeoffs.
And you are saying Nexus 6 is not capable of doing that? Very much disagree with you there. Yes, LG 4 might have a better camera, but that doesn't mean N 6 doesn't have a good camera.
Yes I am saying that. I love the Nexus 6 but trying to get a quick photo that you can be happy with takes more effort. Slow focusing, opening up camera app, and poor autofocus in video. But the G4 has that double press the volume down button to bring up the camera, and the S6 has the home button. That and the fact that the Nexus camera has crashed on me in times when I've tried to take a pic. I'm not confident the Nexus can get the quality of shots the S6 and G4 can get.

Yup, too true. I've noticed that I can get really great photos out of the Nexus, but it does take more planning ahead for getting photos.
My wife convinced me to try out the G4 (after getting her one) and it's been an interesting transition. First, because usually she's the one telling me not to get a new phone (lol), but now that I'm trying the LG I've been able to take some really great photos with it, and the shot to shot speeds really have been incredible. Something that I've missed from my One and other phones. I really hope the Google Camera steps up its game for the Nexus's sake.
And plus I was able to use it hours after activating it to witness my first child come into the world a week early!

Something I need to say is once you have kids or a reason to ta!e photos with devices you have on you, nothing else really matters.. Stock android, pure, fast updates, whatever. To be able to confidently snap a photo in moments that matter easily and high quality are absolutely worth the tradeoffs.

I have both the Nexus 6 and the LG G4.(H815)
I am using the N6 on verizon, and the G4 on At&t.(go phone plan)
I have had my Nexus 6 since April 25th and the G4 since May 26th
Both are great devices, for myself I cant see getting rid of the N6.
Both run smooth and the LG G4 H815 has no carrier bloat
I admit I haven't had taken many pics with either phone so haven't done a camera comparison.
It looks like I will be keeping them bothlol
Just got my G4 today...its charging now. I have a Nexus 6 and One M9, so I will be more than happy to provide feedback!
I wonder what parents did before there were cameras? Let's not blow it out of proportion now.

Must be nice to afford two flagships.![]()
Must be nice to afford two flagships.
I had to get my N6 on credit, and even then I shouldn't have done it. I see some people on here that have multiple flagship devices. I'm not saying it's wrong, as I would probably have 2 or 3 if I could afford it.
I have the Nexus 4 and am ready to upgrade to either the Nexus 6 or the G4. I have played with both in the store.
Nexus 6
- Speed and responsiveness
- Pure Android
- Decent Camera (much better than my N4)
- Always on Voice Command (This is big for me)
LG G4
- Great Camera
- Love the screen
- Perfect size
- Fast
- Did I Say Great Camera?
I guess my concern with the Nexus 6 is the camera and size. My concern with the G4 is lack of pure android experience (especially Google Now functionality). I think I'm leaning towards the Nexus.
Any thoughts?
