So, we have a thread for photos taken by the LG G4.

How about a thread for videos?

Post your test recordings here. Ideally at 4K but 1080p will do as well.

Note: There's a weird jelly-like effect on the second sample. This is due to the G4's 3-axis OIS, which is a bit odd when you have shaky hands.

So far, I really love it. It's more than worthy of it's title as my daily driver thanks to its camera, performance, flexibility (not literally), battery-life and storage.

I really love the camera. It takes great images in auto mode, but go manual mode and this thing really shines. I still personally think that the S6 might be a bit better for videos because you don't get that sorta-weird Jell-O effect caused by the 3-axis OIS (the S6 uses 2-axis OIS + DIS, apparently), but I can't complain since the footage I've linked looks awesome.

It's much better than my previous daily driver, the One M7, which has a defective purple camera and a seriously faulty imaging sensor and processing software that causes pictures to overexpose without manual adjustments and poor contrast. It was perfectly fine when new. Hopefully, the G4 doesn't suffer the same fate.

Took this in the evening in the twilight. I use the slow-mo video but it only plays in slow-mo on the phone. If you are using Chrome browser, you could change the setting to play at 0.25 speed in settings to see it in slow-mo.

Whenever I change quality to 4K I do not see video, just blurred images... what is the problem on my end?

Ok so I've been trying to upload a video but everytime I do it goes up to 20% then Tapatalk crashes. Anyone have any ideas?

I set up my G4 as a "dashcam" by using my iOttie dashboard/windshield mount in landscape position; this is from my short commute from home to work today, shot with hyperlapse (note, I don't know if the quality would have been better if I took the video using the LG Camera and then processed using hyperlapse... I'll experiment with that another time):

It was very shaky. There were small waves that made the boat bump every time they hit it. The OIS did its job perfectly.
