LG G4 Wireless Qi Charging

But it looks like you'll get it between July 16th and Aug 3rd. I hope you're patient enough to wait that long. I know I'm not. :-)

Haha yeah. It's fine. I have a Zero Lemon QC charger coming in thrursday which I need to test and review during the wait.

Just got my wireless charging sticker yesterday. No instructions included, so I don't know exactly what I am doing right now. Anybody know what I need to do?

Its a bit of a mission.
I tried to fit my sticker to my G4 without removing the OEM sticker in the hope of leaving there, unfortunately the signal couldn't get through.

before doing this I used sticky tape to stick the reciever on and tested NFC and Qi

Step 1. take a photo of the oem sticker (helps with placement)
step 2. remove existing NFC sticker (some dry heat can help I used a moderate wheat pack)
step 3. clean cover
step 4. place the new sticker in place. you have to be somewhat accurate this is where the photo comes in handy, again I used sticky tape to test before final adhesion
step 5. apply the over sticker.

I have also inserted a small bit of cardboard to ensure good contact. Good luck

@ozz101 are you experiencing any issues with your device after a long time on the charger?

after a nights charge my device wont launch apps and often the screen is locked to the desktop without system buttons and just pulses between a black and color background. a full reset is needed to fix.

i got a wireless charger and a sticker, but i am afraid to take the other sticker off and put the Qi sticker on

So far no issues at all....

Has anyone tried the Yootech Quick Circle Case w/ Qi charging? It's only $14.99 on Amazon, and I was just wondering if it worked or fit properly.

I purchased it and returned it. It's a great case and the NFC worked perfectly but I didn't like that fact that it's secured by clamping on to the corners of the phone. It's basically plastic on shinny plastic with no buffer. I feared that removing it constantly to swap out the battery will damage the corners of the phone.

Thanks for the info. Would the official LG version face the same problem do you think?

No because it snaps on like the back cover. Only down side is the price which is 60 I believe.
If you are not gonna constantly remove the back to replace the battery or sd card then the Yootech case is a good option.

Will it still charge using Qi wireless charging? and did it feel fairly sturdy enough, like it would actually protect from a drop or few?

I also struggled to get the amazon sticker to work without removing the OEM NFC sticker. When I put it on settings/battery it kept flipping from charging/discharging back and forth. So it wanted to work but couldn't. Tried all manners of shim on the contacts from none to two sided foam tape. Same issue. And being a wireless charging junkie for 3 years, I had to get it to work. Finally I bit the bullet and carefully, carefully heated the back and removed that sticker and the sticker below it. Good luck on that. That sticker is about 2 microns thick. I really doubt I could get that sticker back on undetectable if I had a warranty claim with verizon. But it worked like a charm once that sticker was off. Now I'm in the market for a verizon OEM grey battery cover. Anyone?

I'm currently using that with my Sprint G4, but I've had some issues. The phone charges like a champ with my Bestfire charger, but if I leave it overnight on the charger (like any normal human being would do) I wake up to a black screen that only goes away with a restart. Not sure if it's an LG, Bestfire or Yootech issue. Currently chatting with LG and troubleshooting at home; more info to come.

This one is about the same price. Has anyone used one of these? Has a few good reviews and its less than a third of the lg circle case price.

So I'm using this Yootech quick circle case from Amazon as well, but I'm having some issues. If I leave the phone on my Bestfire charger overnight, I wake up to a black screen that only goes away after a restart. Talking to LG now to see if there is a fix on their end, and trouble shooting at home. Anyone have this issue or know a fix? Thanks!

Disregard this post. My internet crapped out before I could finish it, hence the duplicate post. My bad haha.
