I used to work at the Samsung Store at Best Buy and used to update people's phone all the time. Almost always, usually the people with older devices like 2-3 years old, the update makes the phone almost obsolete. Phone isn't supposed to be that slow, still has pretty good mid-range specs at least. Both Apple and Samsung knows what they're doing and they want their customers to give up their old phones.
Best part of that is that you're not allowed to roll back, and they say it's for "security". Never buying another Samsung after dealing with this. Same thing happened to both my wife's and my last 2 phones. 2 GB ram isn't a ton, but it should still run social media app, and you know, the phone part, properly. But when I can't answer or place a call because the phone is stuttering like crazy, that's BS
