LG Headset and Verizon Note 10+

I've used LG Bluetooth headsets with Samsung phones for 4 years. LG has an app (LG Tone & Talk). Used that with all the headsets. Headset reads my messages from text & FB messenger just fine, and up until this new headset, announced callers' name. This new headset, LG HBS 1125, does not announce caller ID. I've searched for 4 1/2 hrs today, trying to figure out why. Permissions are all in order, notifications turned on, etc. Anyone have any ideas? I'm stumped, and I really NEED this feature. It's the primary reason I use the things. TYIA
