LG Nexus

I am very bummed about the "rumored" memory on the LG nexus... but if these Motorola rumors pan out, I am all over that. I would love a huge battery Rarz nexus.

If they do announce this LG Nexus, I wonder how long will it'll be before they release the other OEM's nexus.

Everyone says Motorola can not build the next Nexus because it would show favoritism.

Motorola came out swinging with the new Razr line up saying "We've only just begun"

Rumors of Google allowing anyone to build a Nexus phone as long as they adhere to some guidelines

Maybe I have had too much coffee, but I think everything is falling in place for a Motorola built Nexus and soon. Google is opening the Nexus line so if Motorola releases one it will not show any favoritism. We have only seen the tip of what Google is doing with Motorola with the new Razr lineup, in fact Motorola already had those in their plans and Google made enhancements. I have seen where someone said the LG Nexus is not coming to VZW and that leaves VZW without a Nexus, perfect fit and timing for Motorola. What do you think?

I think Google set up these guidelines to make it clear and fair and avoid the appearance of favoritism. Now, most manufacturers will make the decision whether or not to offer a Nexus-class phone based on their own analysis of if it makes sense for their business. However, whatever the other OEMs decide to do, this provides Google the necessary "cover" to produce whatever they want through Motorola. I expect Motorola to offer multiple Nexus-class devices including something based on a new dual core Intel chip with LTE.

Do you need a link to AC's editorial about why we probably won't see external memory expansion on Nexus devices?

Doesn't mean that some of aren't disappointed by it...

Maybe if enough people complain they will allow a device with an SD card slot... and before you say "no way" just remember that stranger things have happened...

Amazon was dead set on all new Kindle Fire's being ad supported and it took less than a day for that to change...

No memory card doesn't mean it's crap.

C'mon.... I need more room for my stuff.... I was hoping to use my 64GB micro SD card for extra storage..... You know how much space 1080p video takes?? But yes, give me the link to why Google doesn't like SD, please.

What about non removable battery? What if I'm going for a longer trip where I can't use a charger? An extra battery may be very helpful in some situations.

Like I said, I'm gonna buy it regardless of anything, but I was hoping it would be full packed...

I would love for that HTC Nexus 5 to be true. If I have a screen that beats the iphone and a camera that beats the iphone I will be so happy. I was looking at my sisters iphone5 last night and I kept wondering why I haven't seen a camera like that on Android phones....still wondering.

Why Nexus devices have no SD card | Android Central

And if the storage isn't enough, you have the option of using another phone.

I agree.... and it doesn't have to be crap not to be a good fit for me... The Samsung GS3 is an awesome phone, but the bluish screen is no-go for me...

I am sure that whatever the next Nexus phone(s) are, they will not be crap...

Google doesn't want to pay Microsoft money to use FAT32 just so you can throw in an unsecured storage device on your phone.

I've heard LG, Samsung, HTC and Sony all with Nexus devices. Who else were you hoping for other than Motorola?
I'm certain Sony isn't making a Nexus, and I'm pretty sure HTC isn't either. It's LG this time around.

Damn well here's hoping for next year we get multiple nexus smartohones. Will HTC be even relative by the end of next year. They are losing profits every year and I doubt there new budget One X line plus the HTC DLX will make much a difference for them. HTC has been stuck un shadow of Samsung.

I will miss the curved screen if that goes away. Can you tell from these pictures if it is flat or curved? I can't decide.

I think that it's great that there will be multiple manufacturers for the nexus line.
