LG Stylo 5- Screen Locks too quick

I go to Display- screen timeout and set it to 10 minutes, but it seems like in 30 seconds it goes black and locks. I have to enter my pass code over and over

Is this any time you're using the phone, or only during calls?

Are you using a case with a smartcover?

I think I figured it out. There are two settings in question: 1. Settings-Display-Screen Timeout and 2. Settings-Lock Screen & Security-Secure Lock Settings-Lock Timer. The first one controls when it goes black and the 2nd one controls the time after screen goes black before it locks. However, if I force make it black with side button it locks instantly.

Right -- there should be another option to make the Power button lock the screen immediately. You can turn that off if you want.
