Love your pics. The battery life is only thing bugging me with the v10. Coming from iPhone 6s plus. I only got 7.5 hours of use today down to 5% not sure I can live with that.

Posted via the Android Central App

Thank you much. I find myself charging the spare battery and just swapping them out all day.😳 Not really what I was expecting but what else can we do? I feel like there must be a way to optimize the battery life somehow but fast charging also helps. There are some brief stints when the battery is great but that's every now and again.

I find that the I get much better battery life by..

1. Using dark wallpaper
2. Turn off location when you dont need it
3. set wifi calling to use cell network preferred
4. turn Volte off
5. screen brightness on auto

Easily get a full day out of a single charge.. this is with some web browsing, some pictures, some texting, and light app usage. Not really gaming on it

I'll definitely give that a shot. I do like to game though with the ePSXe app. Mostly Final Fantasy VIII right now. I hook my PS3 controller up via usb OTG and play it that way for the full experience.

Outside playing with 30 second exposure. Difference between auto(ISO blasted and short exposure), RAW unedited at ISO 100 and 30 second exposure, and RAW edited in PhotoShop Express.uploadfromtaptalk1450326815895.jpguploadfromtaptalk1450326838988.jpguploadfromtaptalk1450326857997.jpg

My dog Paris. Shot in auto mode with HDR, then edited to black and white, and colored in the background. There is no other post processing filter or effect.

All good stuff!

Thank you for sharing - this has prompted me to spend a few hours with the Camera this weekend, get familiar with it and make better use of it than my standard "Auto" mode.

(... I've already played with the Glamour Slide Bar ... and it's better than Botox! LOLOL)

The white balance is off most of the time in AUTO mode.. just a little.. usually with cold/blue tones. I had a comparison image in manual mode that looks better, but i forgot that I had it on ISO 800.. so it came out too noisy :(

Unleash the manual guys. Auto mode in RAW vs manual mode in RAW. The auto mode will always choose the highest ISO and a shutter speed over 1 second for a low lit scene. I chose a 30 second exposure with an ISO of 100. Lastly, I edited the photo in PhotoShop Express with some noise reduction and slight adjustments. These are not the full size resolution as the file sizes were too large.

Thanks for sharing RaRa85.

You're one of the people that prompted me to spend some time with the camera this weekend, alas, the addition on the Master Bed and Bath is done and I ended up painting most of the weekend. But after cleaning up today (and three Bloody Mary's) and the sun is about out of power, although I may be happy with getting the painting done, I look at what you've done to explore the abilities of the camera and now regret not getting time with the camera in my phone.

Appreciate it. Well hopefully you get some time to get to it. I just saw some beautiful scenes on my way around the city I want to try and capture tomorrow. I'll have my tripod in the back seat. :)

I love it when I come across an unplanned photo session. I was driving along the city for Uber yesterday and one of the riders cancelled the trip and I was on a side of town unfamiliar to me. I logged offline to catch a quick break because the skies were so beautiful. And later on after dropping another rider off I stopped again by the pier, another area I was unfamiliar with, to take some shots. I just wish I had my tripod handy but I used the ground and anything I could find to stabilize the longer exposure ****s as best I could. I shot in RAW and processed the pictures in PhotoShop Express. The defog and noise reduction the app provides really is a perfect match for the raw images from the V10. I wish we could upload the full resolution images. So here are the links to the Flickr uploads.
