LG v10 voluma issues

I'm still having issues with my notification volume turning down/off by itself. Weird thing is that it's showing full volume when I try to turn it up, but the notifications are barely audible. I just downloaded a volume app (Vollynx), which isn't working as the volume turned itself down again after I started up the app. I have to restart the phone or turn it off for the notifications volume to work again. It's my only complaint about the phone but it's a huge pain.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any apps that work?

I assume you checked your notification volume, not just your main/master volume?

Yep, all set to max volume.

I had kind of the opposite problem... notifications were too loud for me. It was annoying my co-workers in the office.

My solution was a moto 360 so my wrist gets buzzed whenever I get a notification. Just about any smart watch can blue tooth sync and receive notifications.

I think I found the issue - the YouMail app. Every time I'd open it the volume turned off on everything - couldn't listen to my messages. Not sure why as it worked at first. I don't have the time to see if another app is doing this to the YouMail app even though I've loved YouMail - have been using it for years & it worked perfectly on my Windows phone. I think it was turning off my volume sporadically even if I didn't open it. Not crazy about the replacement - Visual Voicemail Plus by Phone Fusion. If I save a message the old ones show up first and I'd have to scroll down to see the new ones - silly. Maybe I should go back to the stock voicemail - haven't used it in years & don't even know how it works any longer (I'm with AT&T).
