LG V20 - Camera shots! Show us your pictures

Here is the ND filter I used. //uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161228/eb044fc9ce1b5871149d15147adeb7d0.jpg bought off eBay or Amazon. Here's an ND4 and ND2 filter I stacked on top of each other to do some other shots I took tonight that I'll post later. //uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161228/16bbd88254afbb7616274fb82296a120.jpg Regretting not going downtown on this beautiful 50 degree night but I'll be prepared the next time I do.

I'm assuming you are using a tripod to do this? Just curious on your setup.

Oh yeah definitely. These are longer than normal exposures so I definitely use a tripod. There are more official ways of attaching the filters to the phone but a good ole rubberband works just fine which is what I use when I'm on the go. You just have to make sure the rubber band and filter don't block part of the sensor.

Playing with fire.

30" exposure using EL wire for the "fire." Edited and cropped in Snapseed (only because it's the only app I've seen so far that recognizes full RAW files on the V20), though I wish I could have done it in Photoshop Express so I could use the defog tool. I basically guessed on the focus point and was in a very foggy warehouse, so I know it's not the best. Still, I'm happy with it for a first attempt with my new light painting tool.

Try Lightroom Mobile for a nice, complete experience. Full RAW support too.

I have both it and PSE. Don't remember if I tried Lightroom Mobile on the V20 yet, but I know a lot of apps that support RAW are not using it at full resolution for some reason and only display/save it as a 1MP file. I didn't have that issue on my G4.

You shouldn't have that problem with LR Mobile. Full resolution save and everything.

No problem. It's grown to be one of my favorites but I like Snapseed too for the more flexible filters you can use as well. And Toolwiz Photos is nice too.

Here's a few more 30 second exposures. I could've dialed the ND filter down a little more but I recovered great detail from the RAW image in Lightroom by lowering the exposure.

Edited in LR Mobile and zoom effect with Toolwiz Photos.

love the way the lights flared on this shot. An accidental delight probably due to a smudge on the filter.

With those 30 second exposures, you dialed the exposure up to take the picture, but then in post-processing you dropped it back down?

Also what did you use the ND filters for?

No I was using a variable ND filter which allows you to manually change how much light it blocks out. I didn't realize I could've turned it some more so I still had to dial back the exposure just a little in post. Here's the unedited photo.

Compared to the one edited in post.

But yes I simply could've increased the shutter speed as well to something like 15 seconds but I just wanted to see what 30 seconds would look like on that setting.

Happy New Year fellow V20 owners. Lets make it a great one. Spending the first hours with this lovely lady.

They were really having a reunion.
Celebrating the New Year! I read they spend the winter in nests and although they roam my neighborhood I've never spotted a nest nor seen them fly "up" toward. the trees. They usually fly only a few feet near the ground and they're scary huge when they fly. Wish I had time to take the picture in manual mode. Took that shot as my wife drove. by my neighbor's yard.
