LG V20 - Camera shots! Show us your pictures

Took a year of owning our first home, but finally got around to christening the fire pit. Lol. Fyi, the first one was using rear curtain flash to light up the pit plus get a good fire exposure.0623182324a.jpg0623182321.jpg0623182316.jpg

This noisy bird was flying over our town today (I'm guessing for an air show not far from here), so I grabbed this quick snap.

I'm hopefully going to be putting the recording capabilities of this phone to the test later. 0818181608.jpg

The day was not wasted.

Here's where things got tricky. The constantly changing lighting from the fire was really making it hard on the V20, and I noticed it was shooting consistently 2 stops brighter than it should (or rather, each of the following were reduced by 2 stops, plus other minor adjustments).

And now for the good stuff. If there was ever any doubt about the capabilities of the microphones at high volumes, let me put them to rest. I lowered the mic gain to the lowest point without muting them, and the sound meter was still pegged. My only complaint is they didn't pick up the low end all that much. For example, when they do the afterburner pops, you feel the shockwave hard but it doesn't come through well on video.
