LG V20 concept renders by OnLeaks

I'm still puzzled the mods are being introduced again. They don't even advertise the G5 mod capabilities anymore on social media much. They have really gone silent on them (probably knowing Moto's version is 100000x better).

Its just going to be embarrassing for them at any press junket to have to show how awkward and cumbersome they are to swap mods compared to Moto.

I'm still holding out those renders are just not accurate.

No one really knows that there will be mods

Strange. The more I look at the renders of this phone the more I dislike it. Its too tall and just generally unattractive. The only thing I find attractive about it is the sense of mystery around it and the fact that it looks like it'll be proper metal this time. Otherwise, the more I see them, the more, I'm beginning to really dislike them. There's just something I can't place my hands on yet.
Well, let's just wait till I see the black version first.

This Flex 3 leak looks stunning.

Hate to disappoint you, but that looks nothing like a Flex device......

A Flex has a curved display from the top to the bottom, like the last 2 Flex devices. That render in your screenshot is more like the Samsung Edge devices.

I like the overall look of the render, but if it does have modules it's DOA for me.
You don't have to spend one dime on a module if the phone is solid. How is the phone DOA for something that is an extension and an optional one that you don't have to use?

Whatever the module does will not be included in the phone. The G5 could have had great audio, but they reserved that for a module that never came to the States.

I agree. For normals, the "modular" phones are good enough.

LG confirmed a high end DAC for the v20, so it looks like that (thankfully) won't be reserved for a module.

I really loved lg v10 regardless of its issues...i mean i will take a phone that can take a beating than a phone which is big made bigger with case again...hope they keep what was good in v10

I'm excited to see it for real! It's a nice design so far!

If the back is rubberized, good. If it's the same plastic as my g5, I'm out. I loved the v10, and if they turned it into a larger g5, as it looks like here, I won't forgive them.

Same here. If they up the specs and make the phone a jacked up version of the V10 then I'm in. If it's anything like the G5 as in a modular phone, then I'm out also. I'll just keep my V10. I love the rubberized back of my V10. Don't have to use a case and don't want to.

I kind of like it - especially it looks like it will have wide angle camera on front and back. Two best features to me.

That does not look like a module releases button to me. Its too far up the phone compared to the G5. Looks more like a camera shutter button.

I kinda like it too. If there's a bump where the camera is at then a case should cover that or at least even it out in the back. I personality always use a case on my phones.

What do you guys think about this? I really hope it's true as this instantly moves the V20 higher as a wanted device for me. From the renders it looks like it would be a subtle button but I would really like a shutter button on this phone.

Which also could mean those renders aren't entirely accurate.

Those renders could either be fake or early renders of the V20 before LG realized that the modular design was going to be a failure with the G5. So they decided to go back to the drawing board with the V20....

Could be likely as well. We can't 100% count on these renders but I do like them.
