It is and I like it better than the Note 7 screen which is amazing as well. The audio performance blew me away also!!!

I wonder if they improved the screen over the G5..... Not that I had issue with it

Okay, I'm confused. Which is correct? The $830 price ATT states based on monthly payment, or the $650 price based on Tmo monthly payment?

$650 gets this device back on my radar, but Verizon will probably be later due to their Google Pixel love.

The phone has the same specs as the note 7 why are people expecting it to be cheaper???Same processor ,ram and storage amount...and the Ir blaster and hifi dac make up for the iris scanner and spen ..Not to mention Military Grade build .....I think it's reasonably priced for what you get......

Best Buy is always more in my experience. They will price match the carrier store price however. I bought my G5 that way, they matched Verizon which was cheaper for retail price.

The headphones are offered by LG, and not the carrier. Doesn't matter where you buy them, as long as authorized seller. You submit the forms directly to LG.

Because LG hasn't commanded that kind of price and their phones don't hold value at all. The V10 launched on T-Mobile at $599 so a jump above $800 would be way out of bounds. I still can't believe ATT wants $830. Of course the V10 launched at $699 on ATT.

Well if they price it lower they will forever be known as the budget brand......I bet they raised the price last minute because of the note 7 recalls and they want to come across as a True flagship and not some sub 600 dollar medium range Device, Filling the gap Samsung is leaving this year in the Mobile Space...

This device will probably not sell well at the higher price. At least not much beyond current LG users that might get the V20.

The Note 7 "was" an overall better device with much better display, battery life, feel, pen integration, water proof and the first phone device with true hardware display scaling.

I knew the late Note 7 and owned the Note 7. V20, you are no Note 7.

The camera on the V20 seems a paradox. Great pics with light, but grainy lower light pics. Weak depth of field too.

Note 7 in low light took perfect pics (for digital tech). I seldom used the flash. Absolute tech tragedy losing Note 7.

The device display is far from inferior to others, looks better than my sisters note 5 screen. I test the device in a AT&T store and it embarrasses the so called superior Note 7 in responsiveness and smoothness.

And if they out price their customer base sales will be terrible. With a huge opportunity like this, there's no reason to raise the price. They would want to come in under the price of the S7 Edge and capture more sales.

The S7 cost Samsung $252 in parts as of May. The highest priced part was the SD 820 which had certainly fallen in price since then. Based on that I'd be hard pressed to think the LG V20 cost more than $250 in parts to produce and given how little they advertise compared to Samsung, they are still making quite a nice profit at $650.

Sorry. Referring to power efficiency and contrast. The V20 display looks good IMO, contrary to some reviews. Just not a reason for the higher price like the Note 7 with integrated hardware scaling.

Hardware scaling BTW would be a huge help with the V20. A lot less power usage by the GPU.

If the V20 were priced at $650, I think it will sell huge, given the vacuum by the Note 7. Note 7 users though would see that at same price the V20 would not be as good a value. Audiophiles excluded of course.

Case in point. If the V20 is $650, I am leaning to getting it... whenever VZW finally sells it.

If priced as ATT has, I will go back to my Note 4 for now.
