LG Viper roms?

Re: lg viper roms?

upon running my cm9 rom through the kitchen, the following message note: blahblah format("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p27", "o, ???" blah. i changed this line of my u-s format("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p27", "/system"); and compressed the .zip. it flashes, but still hangs at boot. i also ran either a kang or aosp build through and got a status 6. any suggestions?

https://app.box.com/s/zyp208ue3e36q36mw9m2 <-cm10 extremely alpha wont boot. im not responsible for your actions. add (legacymod display-legacy,media-legacy,system/core,system/extras.) add (aosp frameworks/av and native, add aosp androidruntime.cpp--jb-dev.) at target package files a target no bootloader error. was resolved by adding empty folder named bootloader. during build at target package files-omitting bootloader??? however the build completes. when i mod the .zip and flash get a status 7 error, tried adding the ics stock update-binary. any suggestions?

can you find a working link? so far ive found some broken links and cot iso image. thanks. lol my sdcard (target inc.) could be the not-flashing correctly issue. i misplaced my stock sdcard and i am unable to format this one. looking into retrieving aboot.img for loki. maybe the zvi fingerprint on board preventing my cm10 rom from flashing over gingerbread? just a thought. i notice the ics stock updater-script has the gb fingerprint plus ics fingerprint under assert. pokin around* gonna take a crack at a cm7 rom, i will have to look into modding a device tree. any suggestions?

You gotta bring that up with the Loki dev, I don't deal with aboot. Honestly I paid it no mind until I found out you need the aboot for Loki.

Re: lg viper roms?

nabbed this from cm10 build.prop. is this info accurate for loki?
ro.product.model=LS840
ro.product.brand=LGE
ro.product.name=full_ls840
ro.product.device=ls840
ro.product.board=msm8660
ro.build.description=cayman_sprint_us-user 4.0.4 IMM76D LS840ZVI release-keys

edit: i think so. https://github.com/djrbliss/loki/issues/53

the aboot i posted apparently is not an actual aboot.img. it appears i can use the dd= command within any dev/block and get an aboot.img?! which aboot.img is accurate? should i run the command on every block? how to validate the actual aboot.img? any suggestions?

Open the images you getting from the device in a hex editor or an arm disassembler, they should start with a header. forgot it but you can probably download an aboot from another device and match it up with the image. I'll try and help you out a bit more but i have to go to work right now. Good luck!
