Try going to Apps-All, selecting lgwfdservices and clearing cache and data. Then try smart share again.

January 21st 2016 - and I'm running into the same issue all of a sudden. Trying to "easily" move files between my G4 and my G3. Ended up using Bluetooth which does not seem affected. You know, WiFi in general on both phones has been off. I drop my home WiFi connection on my G4 constantly (when I am connected the speed is great though). My G3 can't decide if it dual band or single band. Sometimes I get the 150+ Mbps I'm supposed to and other times it doesn't want to go past 40 Mbps. Is this an LG thing or a Google thing? It's 2016, no reason anything WiFi related on a smartphone should not work perfectly.
