Lines at the stores -- Looks like the Nexus is selling out!

I went to high school in Fulleton :)

Ahhh league rivals. I went to buena park. Hahahaha.

Update on the Fullerton store. Full price no contract pricing for them is $745 + tax because they are only selling it with a bunch of sh......I mean bundle that I don't need. On to another store. Hahahaha.

One of the Verizon reps in Greensboro, NC texted me earlier confirming my appointment for when I get off work later tonight. I can't wait. I wish I could leave early but I have to be patient. At least I know I will have one waiting on me.

I was #9 in line @ Settler Ridge in Pittsburgh and at least 3 or 4 joined the line after me before the doors opened. While I was getting mine there was a steady stream coming in. CSR didn't thing they would make 11 let alone lunch before they sold out.

I was surprised how many of us geeks were there for a phone that wasn't promoted at all.

I was first in line for the Nexus as the Oxnard, CA store...guy behind me was getting one too and then three or four more guys came in to get one when I was checking out, so clearly they had enough. Oxnard isn't exactly tne most affluent Los Angeles suburb, so that's probably a factor, but they said they got around 50 and by 10:30 when I left they had sold 5 or 6.

I got mine for 250 as well.

This honestly may be the first phone I keep for 2 years. Usually I am upgrading all the time just to try and stay up to date with the os and latest tech but with this phone I know I will get updates from Google and won't have to worry about rooting just to install the latest software.

I feel the exact same way. This one has staying power.

At the Avon store near Indianapolis, I was one of three people waiting when the doors opened. Good thing too because they only had six in stock.

I was at the Lincoln Park Chicago store this morning, and there were nine of us waiting for the store to open.

Went to the College Park, MD (near Ikea) store at 10:30 today. They were busy but not packed. Guy said they had 2 folks in line at opening, and then 8 right more right after that. The guy next to me was getting one too and saw a fair number of other customers playing with the demo.

The clerk said they didn't get any in stock until yesterday - and that they called him in today on his day off to help with the crowds.

Not sure if it'll sell out, but glad demand is high.

Got to the corporate store by my office at 9 when they opened, I was the 13th person in line. Took about an hour to get it, and when I left there where 18 people on the list waiting to be helped. I also bought the extra battery/charger very nice.

So far this phone was worth the wait!

Got the last one from my store in Columbia, MD around 1pm. They wouldn't tell me how many they had sold though.

I opted to go to a smaller store outside of baltimore city and they had a line of about 9 people waiting already. I got one anyway but i was totally surprised. I thought I would miss the lines by avoiding downtown baltimore

bro... I agree our software will be up to date.. but if you are anything like you describe, or anything like myself.. you aint going to last 2 year with this phone when quadcore's and other ridiculous stuff starts dropping.

Ill be happy if I make it to next xmas with this phone.

Looks like there are more geeks like us than we all thought. Something told me that this would be a hot item and a lot of people knew about it
