[AOSP/Gingerbread] Mini BAMF 1.0 -

Mini BAMF 1.0

Hey guys, thought I would provide all of our BAMF fans with a nice Sense alternative. The OMFG and CM7 guys have done a great job getting our LTE RIL whipped into place. All of the credit for the current state of AOSP goes to them, as well as the entire base for this ROM. I merely took their base and BAMF'd it a bit. There will be more goodies for this baby in future releases. This is a very lean and fast Android experience for all those purists out there! I hope you enjoy it! BAMF is growing! To help keep us in the black, any and all support is very much appreciated, but of course not required.

-=Features=-

AOSP base from OMGB source (Thanks OMFGB team!)
OMFGB Kernel (Thanks xoomdev!)
Reboot Options
T-Mobile Theme Chooser
Custom WidgetPicker.apk for improved widget grouping
Various perfomance/build prop optimizations
Custom boot animation
BAMF Wallpapers (Thanks Gadget!)
Wireless Tether

-=Still To Come=-

BAMF Themes!
BAMF Settings!
Who knows!?

-=Instructions=-

Make a nandroid backup
Wipe all data/cache
Flash Mini BAMF
Flash Gapps
Profit!!

Looks interesting, will definitely give this ROM a try. So many to pick from today, feels like there's a new one everyday.

Just installed this via BootManager (always gotta try a new BAMF product). From what I can see this is as barebones as Android can get. I'm gonna wait until Butch can morph this into something unique to BAMF, ya know what I'm sayin?

Hmmm...I am definitely interested in taking a look at this. Maybe this weekend? I've been CRAZY busy at work this entire month and haven't had nearly as much time to play around with ROMs lately as I would like. (Plus I'm currently working in a building with zero Verizon service and no WIFI source available...so my phone spends a good portion of the day in airplane mode :( )

I'm currently dealing with one heck of an internal mental wresting match though... I'm running BAMF RC 4.9 right now...and LOVE it. I am generally the type of person that craves function over form. Forget the aesthetic BS and just give me a simple OS that runs my apps and does what's it supposed to without being bogged down by visual effects. Then I tried Sense 3.0. I'm almost ashamed just how much I like it...seriously. Add to it that the Thunderbolt has the muscle under the hood to run it just fine (in my opinion) along with all the apps I need, and I'm really not sure I want to stray away to an AOSP ROM right now.

If I were still running Froyo with Sense 2.x, you better believe I'd be jumping into this head first...but now I'm not so sure. Ah...decisions, decisions.

*I'm also the type of person that can be perfectly happy with a ROM, and just change it up because I'm bored...so we'll see!

Yeah, I'll wait until this is a little more BAMF'd. AOSP is great and all, but the Sense 3.0 aspects of Gingeritis are really great. I don't even have a custom launcher installed, and that's usually the first thing I install on a ROM. I'm excited to see what kind of builds we get out of Chingy's latest leak though. Should be a fun couple of weeks.

You sound like a perfect candidate for BootManager... Only 2.99 from the market!

FWIW, a lot of roms already have this base (such as gingeritis and uberBAMF to name a couple), but Chingy just released the untouched RUU. Nothing too special except for non-rooters who wanted their GB early, at the cost of, well, many things. (I ranted in another post, so I'm not gonna do it again).

Anyone tried this yet? How is it working?
I won't get time to flash until some time next week, so I can't give too much feedback until then.

I like it a lot. I will be happy when they pretty it up just a touch though. I use dialer one so I can dial by names instead of running through my contact list. Also I hate the aosp symbol for 4g. I know its petty but I wish they had the prettier verizon LTE symbol.

Really? I don't know how I missed that. Well, I guess I'm all set then :). I used to be a die hard BAMF fan, but lately I can't seem to get away from Gingeritis 3D. Such a good ROM.
