Interesting that they would say this, but still say they were going to release the Preview yesterday as well. I just installed it... I will start looking at some things over the course of the day and report back, but things look pretty good right now.

from what I understand they can't get chingys newest gb leak in an unmolested state so the Bamf team didn't want to make this rom one of its official ones. But in the description of the rom it says it's based on the newest gb leak thanks to chingy. Maybe he decided to let the team use it afterall?

Yes. you have to be rooted to use any ROM at all....

Yes. Read stickies at top of forum. Since this is your first ROM, you may want to wait a few days to see how this shakes out. Probably want to start with something that has been verified to be working good by a number of users.

This Twitter DL is taking SOOOOO long.... and since I am over my 10GB of usage for the month (I don't wanna get the 'Letter') I am using wifi... sux

The zshare one is giving me 350-450 KB, gave up on the megaupload one. Almost done and been going for about 15-20 min.

Nope. Erishasnobattery has been clear about this. He has said on multiple times throughout the thread that he didn't give it them, and to stop speculating about it.

also... fresh from TeamBAMF For those of you that missed it, Trident left BAMF. Along with him went the Das BAMF Toolkit. It was replaced with BAMF Settings. The toolkit doesn't work on this ROM correctly, so don't try to use it.

There is currently no shortcut to BAMF Settings

As stated in the OP, Google app restore isn't working. We know. We're looking at it.

because of these KNOWN issues and the massive amounts of repeatative posting at teamBAMF, maybe they haven't post the OFFICIAL link yet, perhaps I will hold off until it is official and the bugs are squashed prolly not though

As stated in the OP (at team bamf), Google app restore isn't working. We know. We're looking at it.

im reading along with the posts at teamBAMF and there seems to be little bugs, im quessing thats why there isn't an official link up yet? just speculation, I could be completely wrong :\

I've reloaded my apps from scratch soooo many times I've lost count... that doesn't bother me... I'm totally up and running with all my apps... it doesn't take me that long to download and setup my apps.

I'm not seeing any other issues with this ROM. Navigation works... no bug with Beautiful Widget's Weather app (I don't use Sense's Weather app). I might do a short battery test a little later today... currently I'm using Chingy's Radio.

I've reloaded my apps from scratch soooo many times I've lost count... that doesn't bother me... I'm totally up and running with all my apps... it doesn't take me that long to download and setup my apps.

Same here ... I've never had luck with auto restore, and I can't remember a ROM that I was able to get Google to auto restore apps on a consistent basis without having to do it myself.

Once I get it installed, I note any issues I'm having here.
