[LINK][ROM]CM7 Thunderbolt.RC1.4 + 1.5.2 Updated 8/6/11

If you are using the official MR2 radio (or for that matter the leaked MR2 or MR2.5), you do not need to flash a new radio.

Even the new MR3, (2.xxxxxx radio from chingy) will work too ;-)

as soon as I wake up in the morning I will send you that email, I am laying in bed right now.

I got your PM and responded, I sent everything and more to your email and your inbox on this site....

ALSO... FOR EVERYONE USING TIAMAT KERNEL... which version (1.3 or 1.4) are you using and what are your results like and which kernel are you using. try and be specific.

I am using Tiamat v1.4... SMARTASS, 268MHz min and 1344MHz max. I am not really having any issues but I think 1.3 may have been a little smoother to me, or it could just be in my head. ;)

Re: [LINK][ROM] CM7 for Thunderbolt. RC1.4 Updated 7-29 11:20PM E

So I flashed this rom yesterday and its running quite well. The only problem for me is that I cant pair the phone with one of my headsets any longer. The phone just never finds it. It pairs with my Moto headset just fine, but it never finds my Apple headset (no flaming please, I got it free and it actually works quite well).
I tried flashing Tiamat kernel, still no go. I like to have both headsets paired because I leave one in the car and use one at home. Any suggestions?

Have you tried to flash one of Imos lean kernels ? [GB Kernel] leanKernel: minimalistic kernel (3.5.0GBtest 7/24/11, v3.5.8AOSP 7/24/11) - xda-developers only choose one of the AOSP/CM7 KERNEL DOWNLOADS ..

according to his changelog, he has done some work on bluetooth and is should work for you... I would try the 'lean' kernel first and then the 'Dream' kernel if need be... let me know how this helps.

Just spent 3 hrs trying to get this ridiculously hard to set up but very good looking theme working!!! here is a screeny if anyone cares... its MEIZU 8.0 (there are a couple different version to chooses from) with a combo of using adw ex too. i think it may work better (or be easier to set up with launcher pro)

That's about it... it is a super sleek and sexy, slightly blue themed MOD... I am extremely impressed with it and the amount of time the dev put into this has to be ALOT, because he has done all of them for several models of phones :)

Where would one find a link to these Meizu themes?

here you go... good luck, this is a theme that is not for the faint of heart to set up.. not to say its hard. it just took a while and careful reading. I am going to include 2 links. one for a zip to get your notification bar translucent (its a requirement for this theme and much easier than his method) and the other zip will be for the site itself... once you DL the theme, you need to unzip and only use the MEIZO_by_Z28.apk. I would do this through root manager or you can use your computer too. it can be tricky but I am here to help. also, since this is a thread about CM7 and not themes... let start PMing each other about this.. I don't want to take this off topic. ;)

[CM7 THEME] MEIZU v8.0 MDPI/HDPI for CM7 (07/27/2011) - xda-developers

this link has the zip for what you need to do first. make your noti bar clear

I overclocked using the new Tiamat_Mecha kernel today and switched to interactive x, I started having reboots and had to switch back to smartass setting with no more issues. Just letting everyone know

Is market missing on this Rom? I just flashed the ROM and dont have market.

Oops, missed this: here is the most current GAPPS that you need to flash too (yes it will bring all of your Google apps with you to this ROM)..http://goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-gb-20110613-signed.zip

Works now.

Since I no longer have Hotspot app, what wireless tether does everyone recommend?

no dice dude, but thanks. Its not a deal breaker, I'll still run the rom for a little while, since it's running quite smoothly. I sure like having my second headset, so I dont have to remember to take the one from the car, when I get home. Oh well.

Oh, and that headset worked with every other rom/kernel combo I've used. This is the first ASOP rom I've used for the bolt, and this is the first time Im having the issue.

PS...thanks for the theme info. Ill tackle that tomorrow. Wondering why my call volume is still very low. Tiamat, dreamkernel, leankernel...all the same. Call volume very low. Am I missing something?
Either way great rom so far. I'm happy with it
