no dice dude, but thanks. Its not a deal breaker, I'll still run the rom for a little while, since it's running quite smoothly. I sure like having my second headset, so I dont have to remember to take the one from the car, when I get home. Oh well.

Oh, and that headset worked with every other rom/kernel combo I've used. This is the first ASOP rom I've used for the bolt, and this is the first time Im having the issue.

PS...thanks for the theme info. Ill tackle that tomorrow. Wondering why my call volume is still very low. Tiamat, dreamkernel, leankernel...all the same. Call volume very low. Am I missing something?
Either way great rom so far. I'm happy with it

Tiamats 1.3 and 1.4 kernels are def great for the volume fix... the patch on xda for the volume fix is garbage and doesn't do anything

Since I no longer have Hotspot app, what wireless tether does everyone recommend?

You can download the Wireless Tether app from the Market by turning on airplane mode and then turning on wifi. Verizon blocks the app but you can download if you're not using the cell network.

I knew the answer before I even loaded the ROM, but camcorder audio is still shot. Gingeritis 3D is the only one I've found to have gotten it right. Come on, CM7, I really want to come back full time!

Hmm I'll try KangBang in the AM. I already tried Dreamkernel 2.4. Also about Tiamat and the volume fix, I'm currently running 1.4 and still have low volume. If youre telling me that it's a kernel issue, for sure, then I'll keep trying different kernels. Again thanks for the help man, it's much appreciated.

I have done that same method too. and actually save the apk to my SD just incase i ever need it. but I found barnacle app in the market and it works much better for me. IMO thanks for the tip though, im sure MOST people didn't know about that the guy who figured out how to do that, did it on accident...lol

LOL,.... you liked a link I posted (a few above this), and in that link i stated that the CM volume fix patch is garbage and doesn't work at all... it is only a zip to change some script in the system framework (its basically a mirage)... the only thing that helps is the Tiamat kernel... good try though

Trust me. slayher knows that the issue is ongoing, and he wants it fixed too, but not just him, all the CM team devs are having some issues... I don't care enough about the audio, but I know it matters to you cuz of your kid I hope they fix it and get some more converts... 'Come to the darkside luke'

Damn! I applied this fix, just haven't used my cam since then.

some people have an issue with the camcorder, that when they playback a video, there is a beep at the beginning of the playback. this patch is only for people that suffer from that beep effect... it changes an .ogg file in the framework. doesn't help the quality of the audio though

If the same hardkeys are adjusted when changing the media volume, it's "Silent ringtone selected". Perhaps the most annoying is when the phone is plugged in, the lockscreen always shows "Charged" (see below). Anyone else seeing anything like this?

Ya I've noticed that it will say it's charged eventhough it's not.
Nothing you can do about that (that I am aware of) doesn't really impact the ROM as a whole...just double check before you unplug to make sure that you are truly charged

I definitely do not have that problem, it sounds like you need to do a full wipe and reflash the zip again, you may also want to check your md 5 sum and make sure that they match. When I was on 1.3 I only did a partial wipe and flashed 1.4 and have had no issues like that whatsoever. There is no other way to fix your problem except to reflash it. Keep me posted and let me know if it works for you

Yea, it's not a big deal at all. I was mostly wondering it it was something they broke with the new build, or if it was my doing.

I did a full system wipe, wipe cache, wipe dalvik. 3 times each.
And I checked the MD5 sums.

So I doubt that's the issue

Have you done any modifications to your phone? Like for instance, I did the transparent notification bar and have the MEIZU theme on my phone and it widget locker can conflict with them.

Just charged up and everything is good.
I wiped my battery stats before.so that might have done it (since I hadn't done that when i upgraded to 1.4 from 1.3).

I did a full wipe and reset this morning, just because i haven't in a while. Everything has been running great today, finally loaded up a theme in adw also "yorks black". The more I dig into CM7 and all of the features that come with it the more I love this ROM. No problem as a daily driver, and I don't think I'll get another phone where I can't run a Cyanogen ROM.
