Lint in Speakers

Hey guys, have had the phone for just over a month. Love it.
Dust has accumulated in the speaker grills though, and ideas on how to clean them? I don't want to take a small object to them for fear of breaking them and ruining the waterproof rating. Compressed air only option? I have swam and taken my phone to the water park countless times already, the water didn't seem to clean any out.
